Chapter 1- Wow

"Get on your grip everyone!"

Caspian shouted as he tried to lift everyone's energy. Early in the morning, he called all the mafias to the headquarters for some training sessions. They need the safety of their city, Ciudad Reál, especially now that the Castillo Clan's biggest rival are starting to make a move.

"Darius! Hold the Gold Revolver tight! You're not holding a fucking Gold Retriever," Caspian said. "Casper, you mother fucker. What are you doing?" He continued scolding everyone that is not doing their tasks right.

Casper, his cousin, put the gun on the table where all pistols are located. "Boss, chill. We are just training. We are not on a war or something," he chuckled.

That earned a smack from Caspian. What he dislikes most of all are people who don’t take work seriously. When he is working, there's no friendship is involved. Work is work. That is Caspian, a man who is passionate with his work.

"You can joke all you want but never make a joke while doing this work," he said emphatically. "Let's take a break. We'll continue next time," he said before leaving the place.

After processing some papers in the headquarters, Caspian returned to his mansion for some rest. He had no sleep for two days. He helped Aranda City after they were attacked by unidentified enemies, he has no time to sleep. And today was the only free time he have, he only wish that no one will interrupt his beauty sleep.

All this mafia boss' obligations and responsibilities are draining him. His childhood and teenage years were full of trainings. Who would've thought that a nerd boy from elementary was destined to be the mafia boss of their city?

Caspian slept for almost 11 hours when his phone rang. He tried to ignore it but it keeps ringing. Caspian lazily get up from his bed to get his phone on the side table. "Who the fuck are you?"

The man on the other line chuckled. "My dear Caspian, it's me. The one and only Hunter Cody La-"

He didn't even get to finish his sentence when Caspian turned his phone off. He already predicted it. Hunter will call him days after the incident in Aranda City. Soon after, they will attack Ciudad Reál that's why he prepared all the mafias. He wants to get everything prepared. From the pistols, assets, plans and the mafias.

"My sleep was ruined by a stupid fucker," he ruffled his hair. He went down to his bedroom and headed to the kitchen to find something to eat. "Oh shit, I forgot," he whispered.

"Open sesame!" The main door opened and he saw his cousin acting like one of the characters of Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves.

"Here comes the crazy guy."

"Caspian where you?" Casper shouted. "Caspian Mag- Oh! What are you doing here?" He went to Caspian who is now at the coffee table making a Coffee Americano.

"Want some coffee?"

"What are you doing here?" Casper was confused.

"Can't you see? I'm making a damn coffee. Get off," he hissed.

"What? A coffee? Do you know what day is it?" Casper is now frustrated. He knows that his cousin is dumb when he is not in the headquarters or when he's not doing his job, but he didn't expect that he was this dumb.

"Thirteenth of April, Year Twenty-twenty two." He looked at his watch to check the time. "Seven forty-five in the evening. Why?"

Casper frustratedly ruffled his hair because of what Caspian said. "Mr. Jang Lazaro organized a party at District five! You should go there since you are the Mafia Boss in Ciudad Reál! Gosh, you are making my head hurts." He massaged the bridge of his nose.

"Technically, I told them that I won't come because I am regaining my sleep." Caspian took a sip on his coffee.

"So you won't come?"

"Is there any reasons for me to come there? Give me three."

"Girls, Women and Money," Casper sarcastically said.

"I don't have time for women and money? I have plenty of them. Do you want some?" Caspian fired back. He went to the living room and sat on the couch.

"Bro, my jaw still hurts because you smacked me earlier!" He shouted but Caspian ignored the hell out of him.

Casper scoffed. There is no reason for Caspian to go there but because Casper wants him to enjoy his life, he wants him to find a woman that he can date with. He knows that Caspian have no experience in dating. That man didn't even touch a woman in his whole life, except his mother.

Caspian shifted on his seat when Casper sat beside him. "Dude, just come! I swear to all the saints out there, you will enjoy this," he insisted.

"No!"

"Fuck that. Say yes!"

"What is happening here?" A guy from the main door talked. His head was rested on side of the main door while his eyes were fixed to the both of them. "What mess is happening here?"

"Fuck I thought you were tito," Caspian heaved a sigh in relief. It's not that he doesn't want his tito to be here but the three of them will never stop bugging him if he will not come to the party.

"Jiro, My savior!" Casper immediately went to his brother to hug him. "Help me convince our cousin, please?"

Casper Jace Lazarillo and Jiro Gavin Lazarillo are brothers and the sons of the most famous mafia in the whole country, Miguel Lazarillo. Casper was the eldest son and Jiro is the second. But if people compare them both, Jiro is more mature than Casper. Jiro is a chess player, His strength is his mindset and strategic plans. While Casper is a masculine guy, he is more on physical activities. That's why Caspian needs both of them in his city.

"You're not going?" Jiro calmly approached Caspian. He sat beside him while looking at Caspian, confused.

"I'm not. I told Lazaro that I won't be there besides, there is no reason for me to be there," he finishes his last sip of his coffee.

"Well, there are plenty of reasons for you to be there but you choose to ignore them. Is having some fun not a good reason for you to come there?" Jiro asked. "I know what you're thinking. You're asking yourself if you have the right to have fun while the chaos is near but we're just predicting it. There's no possibility yet. When are you going to have fun? When you're on your late 60's?"

Jiro knows him too well. Since they were kids, they can no longer be separated. Both of them trained to be the best mafia boss but Miguel Lazarillo insisted that Caspian should be the mafia boss since Jiro was too young for that responsibility.

"Fine."

"Really? You're going to come?" Casper's eyes widened in shock because Jiro made him say yes. "That fast?"

"Let's go," Caspian said. He did not change his clothes. He was just wearing a plane black shirt, a taslan short and a pair of black slippers. He is wearing his gold necklace that symbolizes his power and will. People in their city was used to this Caspian. Wearing a simple shirt while going to parties and doesn't care about what other people are saying. After all, he is the boss.

It took them just a couple of minutes before they arrived at District five. Ciudad Reál has no traffic on both day and night. People living here are not as luxurious as people from Ciudad de Lazus. But the people here are very respectful, kind, and organized. That's what their enemy envy the most.

"Castillo! I thought you're not going?" A man in a suit called him while they are heading their way to the bar. "Lazaro left earlier. You missed him! But anyway, just enjoy the rest of the night!"

"Thank you, Salvador." The guy left.

They went to the VIP room located at the second floor of the bar. People are already wilding on the dance floor. The scent of different alcohol mixed together were filled the entire bar that makes Caspian sick. It's not that he doesn't want alcohol, but he is just not used to it.

"Alfonso?" Jiro asked and Caspian nodded. That was the only heavy drink he could drink without getting drunk. He sat on the couch beside Kaede, Azrael, and Darius. They were just casually talking about some manly things that Caspian has no interest.

Jiro handed him the Alfonso and they silently watched the other mafias talking.

"Hello, fellas!" Raziel shouted while approaching them, arms were spreading. "Y'all are enjoying too much without me."

"Who is that girl?" Kaede asked. The side of his lips rose up when the girl went to him.

"Solene, Sol for short." She offered her hand.

"Kaede Cyprus Luna but you can call me Luna since your name is Sol," he said. "Eclipse."

Caspian rolled his eyes before he went to the railings to watch the people dancing. While busy watching people from afar, one person caught his eyes. Girl in red dress, sexy dancing with the group of guys. Her brown hair gracefully dancing together with her hips. Her beautiful smile was clear even from afar.

In the midst of the crowd, she stood up. Among all the people he watched, she caught his attention.

"Wow," he whispered.
