*****Nikita POV*****

It’s almost dark by the time I arrive at the Booi estate. Everyone, guards and servants are outside standing in a formation line on both sides of the driveway all the way to the veranda of the house. Leo stands tall in front of the door with Owen and Hunter on his either sides. There’s a grey-haired old lady a few feet from them. I bet that is the famous Mariah, the Booi’s most trusted maid who raised Leo and Owen. I have never met her but I know stories of how protective of the two and how fond they are of her. Next to her stands Wendy, her daughter, whom I once thought was Leo’s woman. I took longer in my estate than I originally thought and I can’t help but feel guilty when I think about how long they might have waited for me to arrive. They all bow down when I greet and walk past.

“Finally! Do you have any idea how much it hurts to stand on heels for two hours?” Wendy exclaims.
