The pack house glows under the moonlight as it shines in its full glory, again, I survive another dinner together with everyone on the same table.

I stuffed my food as fast as I could just to exit the after dinner discussion. I retired to bed with the excuse of tiredness. Silver was very much aware that I was avoiding her as much as I could.

“You're doing this because you don't want to talk about what happened on the field right?” She whispered in my ear during dinner, right before I took the first bite.

“Hmm?”

“I wish I was there to cheer you on, but I'm here to tell you, you did nothing wrong. I'm sure you're feeling guilty that you hurt a human but you did what you had to do, she set herself up by putting you in a tight spot” I chuckled at the word “guilty”

What I feel is far from guilt, it's more dangerous and inhumane that I can't ever think of saying it out loud.
