The cell floor was cold, but I'd already adapted to it. I didn't know how long I'd been down here. I was just surprised Ronald hadn't killed me yet. He was obsessed with finding Tyra. And I've never been so glad he's failing miserably.

But part of me couldn't stop worrying. Had she survived? If she had, I only hoped she was somewhere Ronald would never find her.
