“Lyra is a coward. A shallow minded girl who thinks she can just step foot into the pack and take over it. We have tolerated her enough.”

Damon was speaking while our heads were down. The news of Lyra and my son’s absence hit me like a wave.

It would be the second time that I will be left without my boy and words cannot describe how much I felt within.

I turned around to look at Alaric. He has been very quiet since he came back to life, almost too quiet not to be having a plan within.

“Eve has to die and this time we are not taking chances.” Damon added.

He seemed to be the only one fully motivated in the room, while we are left with a shadow of our minds, hurting inside because our only boy is not with us.
