Ezra POV

I watched from the window in my mansion as the Convoy drives Astra out of the premises. I picked up my Staff and walked out of the room.

This was exactly what I wanted and now I am going to make sure he pays for everything. I walked down to the dungeon, which wasn't far away from the main pack.

The Rogues all howled in anger as I walked into the room. I pulled out the purse in my pocket and dropped it on the floor.

"Inside there is gold. The first to kill will earn it."

"What do you want us to do?" They asked in unison.

I smiled and narrated everything to them, also handing them the scent of the convoy.

"Consider the job done." They assured.

I gave a nod of approval to the guard and he opened the dungeon and they all rushed out of the cage, while I watched them in delight.

Eve had gone off to the Pack house to take directives of everything happening. I walk over to my study room to pick up a book, when I heard footsteps behind me.
