“Here is my credit card,” Erebus says as he hands me a shiny black credit card over breakfast. “You will need a gown for the Winter Solstice Ball.”

I look from the black card in my hand and back to Erebus, then back to the card once again. “Wha… What kind of gown do I buy?”

“Traditional Victorian,” Erebus says as he shoves another forkful of eggs in his mouth and thumbs through his emails on his phone.

“What? Where?” I look down at the elite card in my hand once again trying to gather my thoughts. “Where do I even buy a traditional Victorian gown?”

“There is a dress maker in town,” Erebus says with a wave of his hand like it is no big deal. “Have her make one for your friend too.”
