Author's Pov
The word rang in his head liking a painful whip meeting his bare body, he froze letting his wolf repeat the same mate for three times so he could be confirmed that yes, he wa fucked up.
What in the actual fuck!
Mate! She was his mate! Fuck!
He cursed in his head staring at the beauty sleeping on his dirty mattress. Now he knew why her scent was messing up with his mind, why the man who had fought with every kind of temptation in his whole life was beyond seduced by this innocent enchantress. That fucking alluring scent was playing with him because she was his mate. The mate he never asked to have, at least not at this crucial time.
Great! He didn't come here for this. He didn't want a mate right now, he wanted to focus on his motive, there numerous matters he had to handle right now and having a mate was the least one, almost out of the question. Having a mate was like a strength and a weakness at the same time, even the thought of something happening to the mate can destroy the wolf.
The moon goddess knew what she was doing when she made a healer his mate, especially when she knew how crazy he was to get his hands on the only healer alive. But now it seemed impossible, he was stuck with a valley and a sea, neither could he kill her nor think of accepting her as his mate. He had long forgotten that he would had to have a mate one day.
The fact that if the mate was weak. Then the wolf had to be around her to protect her from any kind of harm, especially being a rogue king with different kind of powers he was way too possessive and protective regarding what was his. He sighed heavily staring at her with his gleaming yellow eyes, he was called a monster for a reason. His wolf kills in a blink and without any remorse but the way she controlled his wolf was beyond his understanding.
His wolf for a first time in all these years wanted to come out but not to kill instead to embrace his mate, this thought made him chuckle out. His mate was an omega. A weakest ranked wolf, and not only that she was also a healer whose bad history wasn't hidden from anyone, he stared at her for a few seconds before sighing. He had two options either accept her and give his best to protect her or simply reject her.
Will he reject her? Hell no!
Only a fool will reject his mate. No matter how weak ranked mate you get, the mate was a strength and could double your powers and by watching his little girl he can tell easily she has the power he wants. Healing power. The power he was yearning to hold for years, he endured this fucking torture of these three months and let them think that he was weak rogue just to get his hands on this power and now when it was time he could have it, he wasn't going to step back. He had to have that power, he needed it!
If he wanted he could simply suck the healing power out of her and kill her on the spot but he couldn't do that as well. His fucking wolf had already became a puppy for her, his wolf would became extremely weak if he being a ruthless wolf would kill her this instant it would definitely destroy the sanity of his wolf as well and at this crucial time he couldn't afford to lose his wolf. He needed to strengthen his power not to lower it.
Suddenly he felt bad for her after he knew he must have a lot of dreams regarding her mate but alas! He was far from being the Knight of her dreams, he wasn't a reality of her fairy tale imagined love story instead he was the cruel nightmare she had never wanted to face ever. But there was nothing he could do now, she had only moon goddess to blame for pairing such a naive and innocent weak wolf to a maniac rogue like him.
She was too fragile and weak body wise if to compare with him, he knew she wolfs were always weaker than the one they were mated to but it was really a rare situation when an omega was to be mated with a power wolf like him, who had the strength twice what an alpha had. His eyes steadily roamed to her slightly skinny frame, he frowned, didn't she eat properly. Why was she so weightless?
Then his eyes roamed down finding her in a cheap old styled dress, it looked like maids clothes. That was weird, wasn't she an independent wolf then why her dress looked so disapprovingly worn out. Wasn't this modern era? Then why was she wearing such a granny looking dress? He didn't like seeing her not maintaining herself, she was going to be his queen. The woman who will have to rule beside him either she wanted or not, she will have to change the way she dressed.
His mate didn't deserve this kind of cheap treatment.
His eyes halted over her tiny palm laying lazily on the matress and not able to stop himself he moved his massively large hand to her engulfing her tiny hand in his making his wolf purr at the feeling. He couldn't help but let out a deep breath of pleasure, if only this tiny touch can sped up his nerves then he had no idea what will happen when she will be laying under him, writhing in pleasure and pain all under his mercy.
He closed his eyes leaning his head down to her hair sniffling her scent. She smelled divine! So fucking additive. His wolf urged him to bury his face in her silky locks and he didn't fight it, he let his wolf command him and the moment his nose snuggled in her hair he had to bite back the howl wanting to escape his lips. He wanted no motherfucking guards to disturb his moment with his little mate.
All his trance broke when he remembered something and a frown got settle on his forehead. He knew she was his mate but why did she behave like he's not her mate? The moment she entered the cell he knew he had some kind of attraction towards her but the question was did she feel the same? He pursued his lips still snuggling in her hair remembering how her eyes glimmed with everything but realization of him being her mate. Didn't she hear her wolf claiming him her mate?
Even though disappointment scratched his chest but he soothed his despaired wolf to calm down, maybe she just didn't give heed to her inner voice because of all the fear she felt. Maybe she should accept him being her mate after she regained her consciousness. Maybe. He hoped that it would be the case because he damn was sure to take her with him when the purpose of his stay in this pack will conclude which wasn't far away.
Telling his wolf to calm down he kept his eyes plastered on her without blinking. After Alice blacked out he gently laid her on his mattress and folded his legs sitting infront of her on the aisle. He wanted to examine his mate after all it was hard to accept that finally after so many damn years he found a mate.
It was expected to get a mate after hitting 18 and this could go on till 21 but the fact that he had no chances of getting a mate after he jumped at the age of 23 and now being 28 he didn't even give a heed to it as he had two main reasons not to. First he was more focus on the particular aim he wanted to achieve and he had been fighting himself to gain enough strength to defeat the cause of the scars that were still fresh in his mind. And second, well that was the topic of some other day.
He snapped away from his day dreaming hearing a soft whimper coming from her, his eyes narrowed at her watching her stirring in her sleep. His wolf started pacing back and forth excitedly. His newly found mate was waking up and the first thing his wolf was pushing him to do was to shift and let him have a quality time with her, his wolf couldn't wait to snuggle in her letting her feel his fur so she would smell just like him.
Something again ticked him off as he glared at her not understanding why even after the numerous tries his wolf wasn't able to connect with her wolf. It was almost like her wolf doesn't exist. Or maybe she was pushing him away not wanting to accept him and this thought angered him.
Neither did he move from his seat nor he removed his gaze from her. He didn't care if his blank dark gaze was going to scare the shit out of her, she was his and he had every kind of ogle, stare or gawk at her. And right now he wanted to see if she Will finally open her mouth and accept him as his mate.
Alice groaned a little opening her eyes. Her heart jumped up in fright seeing his blank yellow eyes stuck on her. Their eyes met and she knew he had been staring at her for a while, she could feel her heart drumming in her ear and she was sure the uneven rapid heartbeat must have been heard by him as well. She found his unblinking stare extremely creepy.
She wanted to sit up and run far away from him but his eyes had her paralysed on the spot, the moment realization dawned in her she instantly looked around sitting up on the mattress. It was impossible! She expected to see only angels after opening her eyes again but seeing the devil in front of her shocked her. No way did he let her live! She raised hands and touched her clothed body which had not even a single scar on it. She really was alive!
"Am I live? How am I still alive?" She mumbled to herself looking at her laps. She found it hard to believe that he didn't harm her. She didn't expect this, she thought he might kill her after losing her senses but the man had let her live and not even a single scratch but why?
Before she could ponder even more she jolted in her place as she heard a low grunt like a wolf gritting his teeth. She gulped knowing very well who seemed unpleased with her and steadily she raised her eyes letting it collide with his scary eyes and gulped down. She had never witnessed such a scary looking man before. Even after being caged in this prison for months he hadn't lost any of his weight or his body shape.
Alice hadn't seen him before but still she knew how badly the wolves are treated after being prisoned. She also have an idea of how much this man scares everyone that's why no one dares to come infront of him. Even the alpha himself is scared of him that's why he used omegas as a scapegoat.
She flinched pulling her head back in dread when he rapidly . leaned forward to her. Staring right in her purple innocent eyes he finally opened his mouth, and said something to her for the first time.
"Leave." He whispered in his deep husky voice making her shiver.
His eyes screamed like he wanted to say many things to her, he looked weirdly enraged and disappointed like he wanted to hear something from her or find something in her eyes but nothing. When she showed no particular emotion he anticipated to witness he gritted his teeth and told her to leave as he knew if she stayed here for more than she already did he might pounce on her this instant for not recognising him as his mate.
She had no idea why his presence was affecting her so much? Even though he looked extremely dirty but all she could smell was his beautiful scent. And this was confusing her, his scent was different and kind of tempting, the kind of she had never inhaled before in any of the wolves present in this pack before. But why? She should be repulsed by his disgusting condition but she wasn't and she had no idea why?
She slowly jumped off the aisle glancing at him for a second only to speed up her pace after finding his dark unblinking gaze still intact on her, she walked out of the prison leaving the beast of a man sigh heavily. His wolf whined slumping on the ground dramatically like his soul has left his body at the loss of his mate's presence and warmth.
The man rolled his eyes at his dramatic wolf and jumped on the mattress staring at the ceiling, the mattress was coated by her alluring scent and he couldn't help but inhale sharply pushing his massive body deeper in the mattress. He slid his arms under head gazing at the dark dirty roof. His pupils suddenly darkened and a small smirk appear on his lips remembering her each action and those captivating purple crystals.
"Weak or not, either way," He whispered hoarsely pausing a little widening his smirk fixing the fate of his poor mate.
"She's mine!"
Meanwhile
As soon as Alice exited his prison in one piece the guards almost gasped out. He didn't kill her. He didn't harm her but how could it be possible? He had never let anyone leave the cell alive before, they were used to only dragging the corpses out not watching an alive bait walking out. They inspected her thoroughly trying to find any traces of injury or wound but nothing. He really didn't harm her.
Alice ignored their looks and almost ran towards back to pack house, her heart drummed in her ears. She could sense an uneasy feeling creepy to her chest while making distance between them. It was almost like she didn't want to leave him, and this thought alone disturbed her. Just because he didn't harm her, was she getting attracted towards him? No! Whatever it was she had to understand he was a beast and she should never had this weird attraction towards him.
Shaking her thoughts away the first thing she noticed was the dark sky from the window. He eyes widened when realization seeped into her. Shit! She has been in the prison for whole day, she had never fainted for this much hours before, she cursed herself for using her power she shouldn't have used her power. It happened because of her fainting, now she knew that Alpha will surely torture her with his questions for being late.
And she couldn't tell him the truth otherwise the outcome would be grave and she didn't want to think what her ruthless Alpha might end up doing to her if he came to know that she healed his captive, the rogue he was trying hard to weaken. This thought alone scared her, what was wrong with her that she healed him? She felt like she wasn't thinking straight when she went in.
She tried to walk fast towards the door so no one could suspect her but her way got blocked with beta standing infront of her with shocked eyes, his parted lips screamed how stunned he was to see her alive. And she knew it was expected even she herself was surprised that rogue didn't kill her.
"You're alive? How are you still alive?" He whispered in disbelief.
She asked the same question. It was impossible for that big scary wolf to let her go in one piece without any harm but it already happened. Maybe because she was an independent omega but again he had once killed independent beta, she couldn't understand this question but somewhere in her heart she didn't want to know fearing the answer wouldn't be at all heartwarming.
"What happened there? What took you so long?" The beta inquired and she licked her lips, this! She was dreading this question the most.
"I-I gave him food and he ate it. Maybe because of anxiety and fear I lost my consciousness and as soon as I woke up h-he let me go." Beta narrowed his eyes at her before sighing out still being skeptical of why would that rogue show such a mercy on a mere omega.
" That's weird." He mumbled to himself but Alice heard it.
"Beta Ron." They both heard a familiar voice. Alice stiffen in her place while the beta looked at his alpha with alarmed eyes. She bit her lower lip internally praying to goddess to help her but her luck wasn't on her side as Raymond had already seen her.
"Yes, Alpha." Raymond closer to them till he was behind Alice standing extremely close.
" Leave us alone." Beta without glancing at her walked out of the living room.
Alice's breathing accelerated when he leaned near her ear letting his harsh breathing his her warm flesh, and for the first time instead of feeling sparkles and pain of his betrayal she actually felt disgusted. She didn't like his scent and she didn't like the way he was so close to her, she had no idea what had changed but she wanted him to get away from her.
"So you're still alive. What a pity!"

The burning disappaiment swirling in his eyes made her take pity on her herself that there was actually time when she considered this man as her childhood friend, her mate, her protector, she was so wrong. He wanted her dead so bad, didn't he? He was doing well in giving her more reasons to hate him especially after seeing how cruel and empathic he was. She gritted her teeth watching her once mate, there was actually a time when she was thankful to goddess for making him her mate as she always had feelings for him for being her protector when she needed someone the most. She always thought what she felt he reciprocated in someway especially when he showcased his possessiveness and jealousy of her interacting with any other male but seemed like everything was just an illusion of hers. She couldn't help but feel like a prisoner or someone who had comitted a grave mistake of fainting. Author's Pov "Whose scent are you reeking of? Fucking answer me!" Alice flinched hearing his roar as she tried to step away from the heavily breathing wolf. The possessiveness and authority that his tone held scared her out of her wits. Alice's hands snapped up to his hands in alert which were wrapped around her waist keeping her at bay, she tried to struggle out one growl from his side she again froze on the spot letting him pull her further in his arms. She jumped startled when he again let out a dangerous sound gritting his teeth, the scent that engulfed her frame was beyond repulsive to him. His wolf went crazy at the fact that his mate was near another man, he had no idea what they had done for her to reek of that bastard's scent. Author's Pov The week swept away in a blurr with the omega getting busy with her work, she tried to divert her mind by trying to find herbs day and night, she kept on taking more and more patients just to get rid of the thoughts of that one particular wolf. But again key word 'she tried' with no success, he was all she could think of, it was almost like he had done some magic on her so she couldn't forget him. She sighed heavily attaching the folds of the box in which her herb medicines were kept, she had taken care of a patient with a terrible injury just a few minutes ago and the moment he left her mind once again flashed those treacherous Amber eyes before hers frustrating her to no end. Clutching the box with bothered expressions, she stared at the space once again questioning herself of why that rogue affected her so much? The pull she felt towards him was beyond her understanding, she never felt this much bound with Raymond even though he was her mate. Then why him? Why that

Author's Pov Ezekiel smirked seeing the obvious fear dancing in the eyes of the alpha, he couldn't help but pity the people who considered such a filth as their Alpha, even the title inherited to him of Alpha seemed like an insult to the other brave Alphas all over the werewolf world. Ezekiel had fought and faced many Alphas in the past and it wasn't a lie to say that this one was the epitome of disappointment in the name of Alpha. He had left his people to be killed by the brute just to save his ass. His anger flushed even more when he remembered how he sent his little mate to the beast, it was obvious he had an intention to kill her as well, and it wasn't a hidden thing that Ezekiel only showed mercy over her because of two reasons, he didn't feel the anger after smelling her scent and major reason of her being his mate. Author's Pov Alice's peaceful slumber started diminishing as the lamp beside her ignited the rays of the yellowish light in the room forcing her to open her unique crystals, she blinked tiredly rubbing her temple to sooth the pain that thumped against her head but there was one question roaming in her head, how did she even slept so carelessly? She never slept like this before, each night she got used to waking up between the night after she found her mate being Raymond. This was the first time in the last two years and she actually slept without waking up in between. She steadily forced her body to sit up and let her purple eyes looked around where she slept so care freely, the room looked like it was furnished for some king, the walls were painted black even the ceiling was coated with black color. The only source of light in the room was a yellow light coming from the side lamp. The owner of this room seemed to love black too much as everything present here was black. The dark sh
Author Pov I don't have a wolf. The same soft voice doing a torturous work of digging in his ear like a sharp needle echoed in his head, the moment she confessed about not having a wolf, he had no idea what to say or think anymore. So, containing his senses and trying to act normally, he simple gazed at her nervous frame for a few seconds before storming out of the room. He did try to show that he wasn't much affected by the truth but he was, he definitely was. Grabbing the glass filled with bloody wine, he let it touch his lips burning his throat in the process of relieving the hit her words had left on his burning ego, he couldn't believe he was actually mated to an omega and the last nail on the coffin came in the shape of her being wolfless. The more he thought about that, the more it upset him. It wasn't like he didn't think about this possibility, from the time his wolf accepted her as his mate, she didn't look like she recognized him. The fact that she always wore an unbothe
