Author's Pov

"Whose scent are you reeking of? Fucking answer me!" Alice flinched hearing his roar as she tried to step away from the heavily breathing wolf. The possessiveness and authority that his tone held scared her out of her wits.

Alice's hands snapped up to his hands in alert which were wrapped around her waist keeping her at bay, she tried to struggle out one growl from his side she again froze on the spot letting him pull her further in his arms. She gulped feeling his uneven yet harsh breathing hitting her nape, she had no idea what her being cladded in another's scent had anything to do with this wolf.

She jumped startled when he again let out a dangerous sound gritting his teeth, the scent that engulfed her frame was beyond repulsive to him. His wolf went crazy at the fact that his mate was near another man, he had no idea what they had done for her to reek of that bastard's scent.
