"King I am sorry but don't you think you're trusting her blindly?" Gabriel looked up at Carol who had his eyes down in respect. Gabriel indeed glared at him for questioning him but then he also knew Carol wasn't wrong.

He indeed was trusting Fleur blindly. He had no idea why he even trusted her without doing his investigation. He had no idea why seeing her teary eyes and helpless frame he melted away so easily.

Blinking his eyes a few times he turned his intense gaze towards the glass wall that showed his reflection. His half-face covered with a mask brought some fresh memories in his mind as he broke the view instantly.
