Fleur bit her lower lip trying to control her silent sobs as her eyes were stuck over the man lying on the bed letting his blood coat the brown sheets. The doctors were busy trying to control his blood but to no avail. He was severely injured.

"It's all my fault." She whispered to herself blinking a few times letting more tears kiss her pale cheeks.

It was supposed to be her laying on the bed not him. She shouldn't have ignored his warnings. She should have listened to him but because of her stubbornness, she decided to go against him.

Gabriel warned her a few times to not go to the garden anymore. He asked her to stay in his chambers in his absence as after getting Sicilia's head he knew the vampires can attack them anytime. Even vampires wouldn't want to start a war.
