Confrontation and Conundrum

Felix’z POV

I can’t put this off any longer! I’ve waited years to see which of them was my mate, and I’ll be damned if my Uncle Axel stopped me from seeing them! I had been hyping myself up all day, the ache of finding my fated mates and not being near them too much to bear. If he isn’t calm tomorrow at the party, he never will be; so I might as well rip the bandaid off now.

I hopped back into my sister’s truck, leaving the shabby motel for the drive home and seeing a plethora of cars in the city. I knew a lot of wolves would be coming to the party, and it seemed that the air was festive and filled with hush whispers about seeing my mom’s special gemstone again. I didn’t see the point in it really, which was why I wasn’t the one taking the throne.
