The Beast knows that Ian is telling the truth, and he realises that the war has been going on for too long. Rosabella looked at Ian, and she spoke. "Thank you for telling us what you just said, and now I know that my stepmother has lied to my father and me. She said to me that she left you because you were having an affair behind her back, but I am not sure if that is true or not." Ian knew that his wife was telling lies, and he answered. "I was not having an affair behind her back, and I know that is true because I made sure that my sister was safe after she got married." Rosabella looked at Luke, and they knew that Paige had lied to them. The Beast looked at Ian, and he spoke up. "Keep an ear and eye out for more information. Tell your sons that Rosabella and Luke are grateful to them for letting Luke stay with you and after he has recovered from what happened to him."
