Chapter 21

　　“You look cute when you’re feisty,” Aiden says, giving me a lop-sided grin.

　　What the fuck ? How could a guy go from being so rude and angry to flirty?

　　“You’re insane,” I yell at him. This guy is seriously making me lose my mind.

　　“I don’t know about me being insane but girls sure as hell go insane when they’re under….” He starts, sporting a mocking grin as he leaned against the counter.

　　“You make me want to scream my head off !” I shoot back. His mood swings are giving me a headache.

　　“There are many other ways I can make you scream,” Aiden replies, winking at me.

　　“That’s it, I’m out of here,” I grumble, pissed off by his blunt remarks.

　　Just as I am about to step into the elevator, his hand blocks my way.

　　“What ?” I snap at him.

　　Rubbing the back of his neck, he says somewhat nervously, “Well… since you don’t have an apartment, where will you live ?”

　　Wow ! Seeing Aiden go from playful and flirty to nervous and hesitant in the flash of a second made my head spin……..
