FOUR: Queenbee

LUCIA'S POV

I sat in my room in my father's mansion which is within the campus, talking with my friends 'Penny and Katie' about the love of my life and my long time crush Daniel, while having a maid paint my nails. Heavens know I have always wanted to meet him and be with him as his girl and so they answered my prayers sooner than I expected. When Dad told me about the plan, I was so elated and I had immediately given out instructions to those bitches never to near him or they will meet my wrath.

"When is he gonna meet your Dad?" Penny asked as she typed on her phone.

"He ought to do that soon," Katie said as she bubbled the gum in her mouth.

"I wouldn't know but I guess he'll do that soon." I replied.

There was a knock on the door. I guess it's one of the maids.

"Come in," I said. The door opened and a made came in.

"Ma...Ma'am," she stuttered head bowed.

Yeah, the terror I had inflicted on them make them to be scared of offending me. And that's what I wanted.

"I give you ten seconds. Out with it." I ordered. She was already trembling. I smirked in pleasure.

"Your father requires your presence." She said.

"Why?" I asked

"Sir Daniel, of The Kings Industries is here." She said.

I jumped up with excitement thereby knocking down the stool on which the nail paint was kept. The content spilled on my dress and on the floor.

"I'm sorry Ma'am," The maid that was painting my nails pleaded.

"Oh-oh!" Penny gasped

"Oh my! What a mess." Katie hissed.

I was so angry at the mess I'd become. I was planning to rush downstairs to see Daniel.

"Why are you so careless?!" I yelled at the maid who was on her knees already. I landed my hand over her face. And she winced in pain, clutching her cheek. I scoffed. "You could have kept that stool a safe distance away from my feet but you didn't and look what a mess you made of me. I guess today is your lucky day."

I smirked as I looked at her. "Clean it up quickly."

"Yes ma'am," she scurried away to get a mop.

I hissed and turned to the other maid who had watched what transpired in horror. She looked down quickly when my eyes landed on her.

"Go tell my Dad I will be down in a moment."

"Yes Ma'am," she hurried off just as the first maid came in with cleaning equipments.

"Girls, I'll just go to my dressing room and change. I will be out in a moment with that killer bae look ya know." I winked at them. They laughed.

"Alright." Penny said

"Atta girl. Hurry up." Katie said

"Of course," I smiled and walked into my dressing room.

He smiled at me and I thought I was gonna melt. His sexy, captivating honey-brown eyes met mine and I thought 'I could just die now.' He held my gaze, then winked at me with that ravishing thick lashes of his.

He smiled again, revealing those dazzling little dimples. Just when I thought I was gonna melt completely from blushing so much, someone was calling me from a distance.

"Luciana! Lucia!" I was completely lost in my own dreamland till I felt someone kicked my legs from under the dinning table. It was Dad. He eyed me mischievously. And gave me the look that screams "stop being ridiculous".

In that moment, I realized I've been hallucinating and smiling stupidly. I looked at Daniel who was sitting at the other end of the table. He had a very straight face on and wasn't smiling nor paying attention to me. Instead he sipped busily on his wine.

I gave dad an apologetic look. He smiled and turned to Daniel.

"Your Dad told me of recent that your friends Jay and Roe would be schooling here with you. Is that right?" he asked

"Absolutely right, Mr Caden." Daniel replied.

Oh my God! I exclaimed within me. The girls would be so thrilled to hear this. The heavens are helping us indeed. Having our idols attend same campus with us is a dream come true. I can't wait to fill them in.

"I presume they are here already." Dad continued.

You must be wondering why only three of us are having dinner here. Well, I lost my mom when I was three. Dad said she died from an accident and since then, he didn't marry again. He must have loved mom very much. I miss her too sometimes and I did envied my friends when I see them with their mothers.

Anyway, let bygones be bygones. I'm a grown woman now, I'm 21 to be precise.

"Jay is here and Roe will be arriving anytime from now. His flight arrived California already so I guess in a little while, he will be here." Dan said.

"I trust you'll have a wonderful stay here with your friends, Daniel."

"Of course Dad, he will. Right Daniel?" I said smilingly like I was the one asked. He looked at me for the first time since we started eating and smirked at me with distaste. I was a bit taken aback by that look but I wasn't gonna back off easily, I'm tougher than that. The smirk does look good on him still.

"We'll see about that." He said as he dropped his cutlery and wiped his pink lips. My eyes was following his every move.

"Thanks for this lovely dinner Mr Caden. I've gotta go now." He stood up

"Anytime Daniel, Lucia will see you off to your car." Dad said looking at me. Gladly I will. I was about standing up when Daniel interrupted me.

"Uhmm Sir, there isn't any need for that. I really appreciate but I'm fine."

Oh no, not again! I stood up quickly.

"There is a need for that Daniel. It's just being polite." I smiled sweetly at him.

"Well, I insist she sees you off Daniel." Dad deadpanned.

He had no choice but to obey except he wants to disobey my father.

"Okay then."

"Good. I'll see you some other time Daniel." Daniel nodded and walked away with hands in his Jean pockets like a sexy god. I smiled at Dad and followed behind, trying to catch up with him.

DANIEL'S POV

Finally, I've said 'Hi' to Mr Caden just as dad wanted. Having dinner at his place and having his daughter stared sillily at me was an experience I wouldn't wanna have again. I walk quickly out of his mansion towards his parking lot where I parked my car. Lucia hurried after me trying to get my attention which I wasn't ready to give her. Gosh! How bad can this get already.

"Hey Daniel! Why are you being difficult? why are you ignoring and treating me like trash?" I walked on.

"This is the first time someone is ignoring me and anyone who dares get to, regret it." What a stupid and naive fool she is.

Daring me or what? I don't have time for games. I will ignore her instead.

"Hey I'm talking to you! Why won't you say anything? I wasn't expecting you to do this. Do you know how I've longed and dreamt of the day I will finally see you, my prince charming? I've loved you since I was 18 and have always hoped to meet you and be your woman..." I stopped in my tracks but didn't turn to look at her. I felt her walk up to me.

"When Dad told me about this superb news of getting me married to you, I was more than elated and I suppose you should be too." I scoffed. She placed her hands on my shoulders. "I mean, it's not every day you see a beautiful, hot and sexy Queen like me."

Okay that's enough! I turned sharply thereby dropping her hands. She smiled and was about to place her filthy hands on my cheeks.

Oh well, this is a much more desperate bitch than I thought.

I caught her hands on time before she could touch me again.

"Haven't you had enough young lady? Don't you get it? I DON'T like you. You are spoilt, arrogant and disrespectful. I dislike your kind. I will advise you to stop trying to get me because you'll never succeed. I only had dinner with your Dad to respect my father's wish. And earlier, were you threatening me or what? Are you as dumb as you are arrogant? Look here girl, don't push your luck and stay away from me and my cycle. You get that?!" I dropped her hand.

The bitch was sure a tough one. She was smiling all this while. I turned to get inside my car when her voice stopped me.

"I'm sure you wouldn't wanna disobey your father. Since you could obey him and have dinner with us I'm sure you would do same with me although it might take time, but I will wait. This was your Dad's very much appreciated idea. I don't give up easily, I'm tougher than that. But while I'm waiting, I wouldn't like seeing you with the other girls. I've instructed them to stay away from you. And as the Queen of this Campus they wouldn't dare to disobey me. Goodnight sweetheart. Dream of me." She was walking away when I interrupted her.

"Daniel Roberts doesn't repeat himself. Stay away from me before you regret it." I said with so much spite before I entered my car and drove off, leaving her standing there.

It's been one hell of a day already. How much more bad can it get.
