Tiana POV

Not everything needs to end with people fighting and screaming at each other.

Not every cheating bastard needs to be confronted and spat on.

But mine has to end that way apparently.

As I stood outside the hotel room Milan and I had booked for our weekend getaway, hands still on the handle, screaming at someone was all that crossed my mind.

Inside, my boyfriend of three years was fucking some random woman.

Their moans filled the space and penetrated my ears, making me feel sick.

“You always take my cock so fucking well Carey. I can't get enough."

The truth slammed into me like…

Actually, no. The truth didn't slam into anything. It walked up to me slowly, tapped me on the shoulder, and laughed in my face.

That was no random woman.

That was Carey. My number one hater.

And did I just hear always?

Does that mean this isn't the first time those two hooked up?

Milan and I were supposed to come here together to relax. I ended up with an emergency at work so he left earlier. The plan was to join him the following day.

I ended up finishing my business earlier than anticipated and took a direct flight here.

I intended to surprise him.

Shock on me. I was the one being surprised.

I didn't knock the damn door.

Why would I? I paid for this room too since that fucker insisted on cost sharing.

He is a fifty fifty bastard which has never been a problem to me.

But with the truth mocking my pathetic ass, I started to have a problem with it.

The door swung open so hard it cracked against the wall.

I stood in the doorway with my bag on my shoulder and the biggest smile I could manage.

"Well, isn't this cozy?" I asked with a calm voice I didn't know I had considering I was erupting inside.

Milan’s eyes widened at my dramatic entry and he scrambled off the bed like the floor had caught fire.

Carey didn't move. Only her lips did.

They curved into a smirk, a mocking one.

No shame appeared on her face as she paraded her naked body before me.

"Tiana.." Milan started, grabbing his shirt like covering his chest was suddenly the priority.

I held up a hand. "Don't get dressed on my account. We are  all adults here. Apparently very friendly adults." I emphasised on the last words even when friendly was the last thing I wanted to be.

"Baby, this isn't…"

"Isn't what, Milan?" My smile didn't move.

“ This Isn't exactly what it looks like? Is that what you want to tell me?” I fired.

“ From what I can see,it looks like my boyfriend of three years balls deep in my number one hater.

So please, help me understand what I'm missing."

Carey stood slowly and unbothered.

She dressed without rushing, picked up her bag then looked between us.

Her eyes held something that almost passed for sympathy.

"I'll let you two solve your issues," she said, lips curving, "like the loving couple you are."

She walked past me without flinching.

I smiled at her the whole way out. The door clicked shut, leaving me and Milan in a silence that was somehow louder than their previous moans. My smile was starting to ache so I let it drop.

Three years.

All the late nights we spent talking about our future, all the promises he made when he was inside me, all the secrets I’d shared…gone, vanished by a smirk and a half-assed excuse he was probably about to make.

“So,” I said, my voice dangerously light. “Was it good? The ‘always’ part of it.” My fingers itched to throw something, to break the picture frames on the dresser or to shatter the lamps.  I have always had an explosive temper. Maybe that's what Carey and I hated each other's guts.

No, Carey is an exception. That one is a nasty bitch naturally.

Despite the anger erupting inside me, I held myself together. I wanted words to be my weapons. I wanted to see him squirm.

Milan, a man who’d never been short on words, looked at me with the dumbest expression I had ever seen on him. It was like someone had pressed the mute button on the remote control of his life. That didn't make him cute if that was his plan, he looked like the pathetic asshole he was.

"Always?" he finally managed, his throat working. "Tiana, what are you…"

"Don't you dare," I cut him off, taking a step into the room. The air smelled like sex and betrayal.

"Don't you dare stand there with your dick shriveling and try to gaslight me. I'm not one of your little clients you can bullshit with a fancy PowerPoint presentation. I heard you. 'You always take my cock so fucking well, Carey.'

Does that ring a bell?"

I dropped my bag by the door and it hit the carpet with a soft thud.

I walked further into the room, my eyes scanning the mess. The sheets were a tangled ruin, two wine glasses sat on the nightstand, one of them with a bright red lipstick stain.

Looking at the evidence of their betrayal, I felt my insides churn with disgust.

"Three years, Milan." I stopped at the foot of the bed, eyes pinned on my cheating ex- boyfriend.

"Three years I spent thinking you were my person. I defended you to my friends when they said you were too slick. I turned down job offers in other cities because we were building a life here. I loved you.”

Thinking about all the sacrifices I made for a future that was so fragile, I could not help but feel stupid.

A tear I hadn't given permission to fall escaped and traced a hot path down my cheek. I wiped it away with the back of my hand, furious at the display of weakness.

"Say something," I demanded, my voice finally cracking. "Fucking say something." I snapped, my emotions raging inside me like a tornado.

Milan took a hesitant step towards me, hands outstretched like he was approaching a frightened animal or perhaps he was the frightened animal. It didn't matter. I didn't care either.

“Tiana, please. Let me explain."

"Explain?" I let out a short, sharp laugh that was more of a sob.

“Okay, go ahead and explain and your explanation ought to be good.

Was she better than me? Did she do things I wouldn't? Did you ever even love me, or was I just a convenient place to park your dick while you were getting your rocks off with her?"

Milan flinched at my words.

"It wasn't like that," he said, his voice pleading now.

"It was… it just happened. It meant nothing." He stuttered those half baked lies intending to convince me with them.

"'It just happened'? 'It meant nothing'?" I mimicked him, my tone dripping with venom.

"You don't 'just happen' to end up inside another woman, Milan! That's not a thing! That's a choice you make, over and over again! You choose to flirt. You choose to get a hotel room. You choose to take off your clothes. You choose to put your dick in her! And you chose to do it with the one person on this planet who can't stand me!"

I was screaming now, the composure u had managed to build earlier slipping away.

“ You made your choice Milan, so I am making mine.

We are done.” I declared and turned around, ready to do my walk of heartbreak.

“ Tiana please…” Milan started.

I spun around so fast my head hurt.

“ Don't fucking take my name on your dirty lips. You better stay out of my path in the future or I can't promise to stop myself from punching you in the face.”

Knox POVI drove to the location pinned by Cipher like a mad man. All I could think about is Bolt.It didn't take long to get there.I spotted Bolt through the bar window just as the first gunshot sounded in the air.“Fuck!” I cursed, hit the brakes and swung the car around.I barely stopped before slamming into a parked vehicle.Bolt was trapped outside the bar. Three bikes had him cornered against the wall, while a black sedan blocked his only clear way out.The shot had missed him somehow…or maybe it was to make him know they were there for his life. One man sat behind the wheel and another leaned out of the passenger window with a gun pointed straight at Bolt. He was left with no escape route and alone.“Knox?” Malin turned towards me, but I was already reaching for my gun.“Stay in the car.” I ordered, threw the door open and leaned on the horn. The noise startled the men. One of the bikers turned towards us, giving Bolt just enough time to move. That had been my plan…get them di

Tiana POV Roman's footsteps gradually faded down the hallway. I remained where I was, standing by the window with my eyes fixed on the street below.I could still feel the tension in my shoulders. He hadn't needed to threaten me outright; the way he'd looked at me was enough to make his intentions clear. He wanted information and Roman wasn't the kind of man who would accept being turned away twice.I'd done that and survived. I knew I wasn't going to be lucky again.I needed to give him something, anything to get him off my back.I could have given him Knox. It would have been easy to do that .Roman would have someone else to hunt and my own problems would disappear, at least for a while. But every time I considered doing it, I found myself hesitating.Knox was arrogant, infuriatingly confident, and had a habit of acting as though everyone owed him an explanation. Our last encounter hadn't exactly been pleasant, either. Yet, despite everything, I couldn’t bring myself to do it.I

  • Royal Riders MC: Claimed By The Biker   Show you around

Knox POVWhen we stepped inside Club 9th, all I could smell was liquor, cigarette smoke, and expensive cologne. The music thumped was loud…loud enough to drown out most conversations. The private rooms at the back however offered just enough privacy for the kind of business nobody wanted overheard. It was exactly the sort of place the Chairman liked. The man loved living like a rat.“ I'll grab a beer while waiting for you.” Bolt informed me. I nodded and headed straight for the chairman's office. The door was already open, and the man was sitting behind his desk. His jacket was off and his sleeves rolled to his elbows. He glanced up when I entered, then gestured toward the chair opposite him.“Sit.” He offered.I dropped into the chair, already wishing I were somewhere else.“Do you have any progress on Ice?” he asked and I shook my head. Wasn't he aware of the situation already? Why was he asking me that?“The trail went cold after our informer was killed.” I informed him.“Whoeve

Tiana POV My finger stayed on the trigger and my eyes on the fucking door.Knox only smiled, like he was enjoying himself. If Roman walked in and found the President of the Royal Riders sitting on my couch, I was finished.“Knox, I know you are in there. We need to move.” A voice I didn't recognise said.Another voice? Not Roman? But a man who knew Knox?Relief hit me so hard I nearly lost my grip on the gun. I lowered it slightly, still not daring to relax.Knox’s smile faded a little. He stood, took the pistol from my hand, and slid it back into the holster beneath his cut.“We’re not finished,” he said quietly.I said nothing, just wanting him gone as soon as possible.Roman was close and I couldn’t afford to waste another second.Knox opened the door and the man stood outside, his jaw tight. His eyes flicked to me before returning to Knox.“Chairman called. I covered for you.We should get going.” He informed him.Knox glanced at me once more. His eyes narrowed, but he didn't ask

  • Royal Riders MC: Claimed By The Biker   Knox Vale

Tiana POV The second the door opened and I saw those blue eyes, my stomach dropped straight through the floor. Knox Vale. The man I had spent one filthy, perfect night with. The same man Roman had ordered me to track. The same man whose face was currently living rent-free in my head for all the wrong reasons. Now, he was standing in my doorway with his boot wedged in the gap like he owned the place. “What the hell are you doing here?” My voice came out tighter than I wanted. Knox smiled. That slow and dangerous smile…the same smile that had made me climb on the back of his bike without thinking twice. “I was in the neighborhood.” I replied. What a pathetic excuse. I tried to shove the door closed again but he didn't budge. The scent of leather and that expensive cologne hit me all over again. My pulse spiked for reasons that had nothing to do with fear and everything to do with the memory of his hands on my skin. That feeling…the one I'd consider dropping my panties to

  • Royal Riders MC: Claimed By The Biker   Hello, Tiana

Knox POVAfter Bolt left, I headed to the main room to relax and probably rest before things got tangled.I hadn't even ‘ rested ‘ before Cipher walked into the room with his laptop open. The expression on his face told me that whatever he'd found wasn't entirely good news.Bolt and Zero followed behind him. The other club members were busy fixing their sleeping positions for the days before we decided whether we were to continue riding or settle in the city.“Talk,” I said, rubbing my temples. He set the laptop on the table and turned the screen toward us. “ I have news. Both good and bad.” He declared and looked at me, as if giving me permission to decide which news we would be hearing first.“First, the bad news.” I told him.Cipher pulled up a police scanner feed and a grainy street-camera clip. “Our informer, the one who gave us Ice's last location, is dead from a single shot to the back of the head. His body was dumped in an alley three blocks from the industrial yard.” He rev
