No, no, no, why am I being subjected to such a traumatic experience? Why didn’t you kill me instead of my son?

I cried till it was difficult to take a breath. Everything turned black for a second time.

When I awoke, I realized that there was no reason to continue living. Everything in which I had put my faith had been crushed. My innocence was stolen by a man who was meant to be everything I ever wanted in a man, but he turned out to be my deadliest nightmare. The death of my child, who was the silver lining in my life following a difficult period in which I had to endure many storms, was devastating. I am absolutely nothing. I don’t have anything.
