My breath was caught in my throat as I stared into Zander's eyes.

He was close, way too close.

The air between us felt too warm and heavy. I could feel the heat radiating front his body, could smell the faint scent of cedarwood and something uniquely him.

It was distracting and dangerous.

“You're never going to let that go, huh?” I could barely recognise my voice. My heart was racing softly and it was getting harder to breathe.
