CHAPTER 16: He knows!
Shivering, she was refraining herself to open her eyes. Her face had gone pale, mind numb, not understanding how to deal with this sudden shock.
Theodore was here. Inside her room. And from the tone of his voice, he did not sound happy. That had her insides curled.
For few minutes, there was adhering silence around her. Only her own heartbeats audible to her ear.
Then, suddenly, she sensed hot breath hitting her face before a towering body was pressed against her small one.
"Open those beautiful eyes, Sweetheart." His tone was seductive yet stern, letting her know he wasn't in mood of nonsense.
Ever so slowly, she unfolded her eyelids, before lifting her hazel eyes that were sparkling in fear and nervousness.
The fret of him finding something out there, wasn't allowing her to think straight.
"There's my girl." He whispered before enfolding his arms around her shivering body, engulfing her in his warm embrace.

Two Days Later :Mona was just done placing mug of coffees on the table when she sensed a presence.Looking up, she found Theodore coming down stairs, busy in adjusting the collars of his camouflage shirt.
