CHAPTER 33: Her Decision

"Shh, baby. Stop crying, will you? Are you not my good girl?"

He was trying to hush her softy while brushing his fingers through her hair in an attempt to calm her. But, her tears were not stopping. Not a sound was leaving her. He was continuously murmuring gentle things and regretful apologies for jumping to conclusions. But for her, his voice was just blurred frequency resonating in the background.

She was traumatized with shock. Her mind wasn't accepting the news.

She was pregnant? She? What did she know about pregnancy?

How can she bear the child of her rapist?

How will she raise the child on her own?

But the most terrifying question that was flashing before her eyes again and again was how would she confront Theodore about this?

The mere thought sent tremors down her body. Fear struck her. Didn't know what hit her, but she began to wriggle in Theodore
