Chapter 08: Gaze

Third Person POV

The three of them glared at him without restraint, their eyes sharp and unyielding.

“Did you just warn us?” Draven asked venomously. This son of a bitch really had the nerve to mess with them so openly, as if he did not understand who he was standing in front of.

Mr. Landers smirked and slowly began to approach them, his shoes echoing faintly against the classroom floor.

“I just did, Mr. Green,” he answered bravely, his tone steady despite the danger written all over their faces.

They stared at him with amused disbelief. Was he even aware of what he was doing? He could lose his job in a matter of seconds, maybe even less if they truly wanted it.

But no. Before he lost his work, he would suffer first in their hands.

Ryder looked at him intently, his gaze cold and unreadable.

“Do you know the consequences of your actions?” Ryder asked seriously, his voice low and controlled.

Mr. Landers met their eyes without hesitation and answered firmly, “I am comple

Chapter 10: DinnerJasmine Reign’s POV“Yeah, right. I still cannot believe they were that nice too,” I said with a small laugh. “Anyway, let us continue working.”I nodded my head at my own words and smiled faintly.“Alright,” Aby replied.Time passed quickly, and we had plenty of customers before nine o’clock in the evening. Just like my mother instructed, we closed the shop exactly at nine.“You really have the tongue of an angel,” Aby said happily as she removed her cap and placed it on the counter. “You said this café would be crowded tonight, and it actually happened.”I smiled softly and let out a tired sigh. I did not expect it either, but it would definitely be good news for Mom, and I knew it would make her happy.“It has been a tiring night,” I said gently. “We should go home now, Aby.”She nodded. “Yeah, we should.”“Ladies, are you going home now?”We both turned toward Jefferson when we heard his voice. I honestly thought he had already left.“Yes,” Aby answered cheerful

Chapter 09: JeffersonJasmine Reign’s POV“Hey, Mom,” I greeted my mother as Aby and I stepped inside the café we owned. The familiar smell of coffee beans and baked pastries wrapped around us the moment we entered. She stopped wiping a table and looked up at us in surprise.Aby stood just behind me. When my mother saw the two of us together, her face instantly softened. She smiled warmly and walked toward us.“Hey,” she greeted back before hugging me tightly, then pulling Aby into a hug as well.“Hello, Aunty,” Aby greeted my mom politely while returning the hug.“It’s good to see you here,” my mom said with a gentle smile. “Are you helping again today?”Aby nodded eagerly, her smile genuine and bright.“Yes, Aunty. I am willing to help.”“Oh, that is lovely,” my mom replied happily. “Do you two not have homework?”Aby and I both shook our heads at the same time.“No,” we answered in unison.“Great,” my mom said, clearly relieved.“Mom,” I called out, and she turned to look at me.“Y

Chapter 07: The DevilsThird Person’s POV“Did you see her face? Damn, that was hilarious,” Rocco said, laughing hard as he spoke to his friends, clearly entertained by what had happened a few moments ago. “Haha.”Just like in the old days, they had humiliated someone again right in front of everyone. It felt familiar, almost routine, like an old habit they never bothered to break. In their minds, it was never their fault anyway. That girl had a big ego, too much confidence, and clearly did not know her place. She was desperate, craving their attention like it was something she needed to survive. Sadly for her, they had no interest in her at all, not even a tiny bit. So who was really at fault here? Definitely not them, at least that was how they always saw it.“Right,” Ryder agreed, shaking his head with amusement. “Now I regret not bringing my camera with me. That would have been gold.”Draven continued walking ahead of them, silent and detached, his boots hitting the pavement in a

Chapter 06: CafeteriaJasmine Reign’s POVWe finally reached the cafeteria, and all I could say was one honest thought running through my head. Damn, it was crowded. The place buzzed with noise, laughter, and the scrape of chairs against the floor. The moment I took it all in, a small wave of discomfort settled in my chest. Too many people, too much movement, and not enough space to breathe.“Choose our seats. I’ll be the one to order our food,” Chris said confidently, already rolling his shoulders like he owned the place. Honestly, that worked perfectly for me.“Alright,” I replied, offering him a quick smile.“What should I order? Type A or Type B?” he asked us. Aby and I both chuckled at the same time. He was still using those ridiculous food codes of his. Type A meant lasagna, cheeseburger, and a can of Coke. Type B stood for salad, soup, and fruit juice, which he clearly judged with his soul.“Type B for me. I really need to diet. I’m getting fat,” Aby said dramatically while exa

  • Rule # 1: Never Kiss The Bad Boy   Chapter 05: Rude

Chapter 05: RudeJasmine Reign’s POVI just shrugged my shoulders and moved my gaze away. Focus on yourself, Reign. There should be no problems, just keep yourself away from trouble and stay out of unnecessary drama. That is the best way to survive today.“Look at her reaction. She didn’t even giggle or smile,” Aby whispered, her voice dripping with disbelief. I cringed at her words. Why should I smile? What’s so good about them staring at us anyway? I find it really creepy. I can already feel it—like they’re just waiting to make fun of us, and we’ll probably be their next target. Geez, I really hope that doesn’t happen.“Stop, Aby. That’s not making any sense at all,” I told her firmly. She just sneered at me and leaned over to whisper something in Chris’ ear. After she spoke, they both burst into soft giggles. Are they keeping secrets from me now? Of course they are. I can tell.“Care to share what’s so funny with me?” I asked, looking between them, but they just shook their heads a
