Chapter 16 Getting Into Trouble

The hooligans did not actually adore Ava that much. However, they couldn't stand being contradicted. Their gaze became hostile. Alex was not afraid and turned around.

"Didn't you hear what I said? I'm saying this because I think Ava has a poor character. It's not like we can't discuss it, right?"

Before they could answer, Alex added, "Or, could it be that you like flaunty women like her?"

"What the fuck? I dare you to repeat that!"

One of the hooligans was infuriated and pointed at Alex. The atmosphere turned hostile. It seemed that the few men were about to make a move.

"Alex, forget it. Let's go!"

Amelia was a bit scared and tugged on Alex's hand. However, the hooligans blocked their paths.

"It's not that easy to leave!"

Amelia clenched her fists and looked at the men.

"What do you want?"

"Apologize to my friend. Also, I realize you're quite a beauty. Why don't you join us for a cup of coffee?"
