Chapter 795 Eric Left

After returning home, Eric's mood remained gloomy.

Hannah opened a bottle of wine and poured a glass for him. "Want some?"

Eric glanced at her, took the glass, and gulped it down in one go.

Hannah then quickly refilled his glass, and Eric drank everything again.

Hannah chuckled lightly as she poured the wine for him. "Although drinking is bad for you, sometimes, it can be a way to drown your sorrows. But don't overdo it."

"Why should I be sorrowful? What do I have to be sorrowful for?" Eric mocked himself and finished the wine in his glass. He then grabbed the bottle and poured himself another glass.

As Hannah watched him, she couldn't help but say, "You indeed have nothing to be sorrowful about. You're quite fortunate compared to many ordinary people.

"Take me, for example. I had to marry someone who doesn't love me just to survive. Even the parents I'd known for over 20 years were not really my parents."
