Synopsis
“Why do you love talking so much?” I demanded with a scowl. “Because I want you to clearly remember that you’re about to get nasty with a man.” He answered as he grazed his lips lightly against my jaw, a feathery motion which made me shiver slightly in response. I opened my mouth to say something in reply but he jerked my mouth against his fast, stopping whatever I was about to say with a kiss. ****** After unknowingly getting dragged into a dangerous mess and being on the run with a man who has a death penalty threat hanging over his head, two things out of five were very clear to Mark. One, his straight ass wasn’t as straight as he used to think. Two, he was ridiculously falling for the ‘number-one’ most wanted person in more than five countries. Recklessly, unhinged. The fact that he had a girlfriend back at home was the last thing on his mind. It was a very reckless and emotion filled adventure for both men, where one had to prove his innocence to the world or forever be on the run until whenever he got caught. While the other one has to throw caution to the wind for the first time, grow past his fears and beliefs and go for what his heart wants, despite how wrong it feels.

Mark’s POV I fixed my pants and buckled my belt up in the next second. My heart was starting to race once again, but this time, it was out of fear.“It’s a bomb.” He replied quietly— way too calmly, as he placed the supposedly deadly equipment on the floor and pulled out another box from beneath the bed. My eyes widened in horror and it took me a few seconds before I could begin to breathe again.I watched as he shook the box for a few seconds before leaving it on the floor and hurrying towards the bathroom, disappearing into it. I stared down at the said bomb with my heart in my throat, my hands starting to sweat almost immediately. I didn’t know what a bomb was supposed to look like since I’ve never seen one before, but from the number of times I’ve read about it, I was kind of expecting it to look like something extremely deadly or dangerous— and not this small shaped equipment which I just noticed had tiny numbers in blinking red colors on the middle of it, which kept changing

To say I was surprised when Chris and I pulled up at a cheap-looking motel not too far from the strip club was an understatement — I was taken aback. With how nicely he was dressed, and how smooth his language was, I’d have never imagined he’d be able to lodge in a motel as cheap looking as this.He already has a room in the motel so we didn’t have to spend extra time booking a room and instead headed straight to his room. Mark's POV If ‘confusion’ was human, I'd be the embodiment of it. Pretty sure that at this point, I can say it's my middle name. Why? Well, having a hundred doubts about my sexual orientation after dating a couple of girls- and currently in a relationship with one, I might add, does that to a person.
