Samantha

"So, you?" I blush, trying to ease the tension in the air. Though I see Russell as an attractive young man, I can't help feel awkward in front of him standing in the middle of the room, rocking back and forth slowly with my hands in front of  me.

He turns after placing my books on the coffee table and turns to face me. "Umm, yes! Me." He says as he pushes his glasses back on his face and rubs his hands together softly. We smile awkwardly in silence, yet we both seem to be unable to undo our stare from each other.

The room has gotten cold, making shiver as I feel the cold breeze coming from the opened window hit my body. Russell chuckles and comes close rubbing my arms with his hands. "Sorry, the heater isn't working. I gotta take a look at it. Let me close the window for you. Why don't you take a seat while I make a cup of coffee. You do like cooffee right?" He walks towards the kitchen and grips the coffee pot, pouring water inside and placing a coffee filter full of ground coffee beans inside the machine.

"I do actually. But let me help," I walk towards the fridge grabbing the creamer I had seen inside earlier. We both bump into each other as I close the refrigerator door and turn quickly. He grips my waist as I bump into him and make him stumble back. We both stare eminently at each other as his gaze penetrates me, making me blush.

"Sorry, I guess I should really look where I'm going right? I keep bumping into you." I say, chuckling lightly and can't help stare at his lips as his mouth forms into a side smirk.

"It's ok. I should of been watching my foot steps as well." He slowly brings his hands down and clears his throat, turning towards the mugs. The machine beeps alerting us that the coffee is ready and he slowly pours the coffee inside the mugs while I slowly stir in the creamer.

I hand him his mug, he sips it slowly. "Wow! This is still really hot." He smiles, making me chuckle. He's trying really hard not to laugh at the burning feel going down his throat. I chuckle, making him look my way with a smile.

"What?" He says as he licks the side of his mouth. I point at him gesturing to his coffee and creamer mustache "You have a little-"

"I, what?"

"Here, let me." I step forward,  gripping a napkin and cleaning his upper lip slowly. His mouth forms into a smile over my gesture making me blush uncontrollably.  "Don't do that!" I smile, and turn sitting down on a barstool.

He tilts his head to the side and chuckles. "Do what exactly?" , "That! Your killer smile. Don't smile at me like that. You make me nervous."

"What? I just. . . I smiled because I appreciated you cleaning my mouth. Thank you. It would have been embarrassing for me to leave and walk around campus with a coffee creame mustache. So. . . Thank you." He nods and closes his eyes.

I smile, rocking back and forth slightly. "Fine! Your welcome. But just so you know, I'm immune to your charm. I see right through you." I say, cocking an eyebrow, looking away,  and then smile at him.

"Oh!" He laughs and nods his head. "You see right through me, huh? What is it about me that is so transparent? Or am I so predictable to a charming girl I just met a few hours ago?" He smiles pointing towards me and places his hand on his hip.

I smile back and stand on my feet, walking about in a circle and turn to face him again. "I see the way girls look at you. This whole, nerd look you got going on? I don't buy it. Yeah....you may be smart. . . But I can tell you're a player, just like any other guy out there." I point my finger towards him moving it in a circular motion in front of him.

"I-, ok no. I'm sorry but you got me all wrong! I'm nothing like any of these losers in this school." He chuckles, bringing his hand forward around his chin. I nod,  crossing my hands in front of my chest.

"Mmhm! Ok. Look, the way I see it, we're roommates for a whole year before graduation. So, let's do a pact that we'll keep things civilized and peaceful. No wild parties without the other one's permission."

"Ok. I don't throw parties, so I'm ok with that." He chuckles, nodding as he looks down at the floor.

"Really? I highly doubt that....also, no loud music at night."

"Ok?"

"We'll take fair share of the bathroom, but make sure you leave the bathroom clean when you leave." he chuckles, biting down on his bottom lip and slightly lifting his head. "Ok! That's fair." He squints his eyes and smiles nodding his head.

"No mess in the kitchen, if you use the kitchen you gotta leave it clean. No me-", "Wow! Samantha. Wait. . ." He runs his fingers through his hair and turns slowly away from me, and turns back slowly running his hands over his face.

"Look, we both gotta work together on this ok? We both work to keep the place clean, and work together to not piss off the other one. But-" he brings his finger up in front of me.

"If we feel uncomfortable with anything, we gotta talk it out. Communicate, and above all, I hope we can be friends." He brings his hand up to shake my hand. I look at his hand for a moment and sigh as I slowly bring my hand to shake his.

"Ok, friends." I smile lightly, and grip his hand and shake it.

Two knocks sound on the door, I make my way to open the door. My eyes widen in surprise and my mouth gawks open to see the person before me. A tall dirty blonde hair boy with light brown eyes and a killer smile stands in front of me. Someone...that I haven't seen in almost three darn years.

"Hey beautiful!" He smiles at me, and leans on the side of the door. Russell stands by the island and grabs both cups of coffee, taking them to the sink and washing them clean.

"Craig? What are you doing here?" I narrow my eyebrows unable to comprehend why the heck my ex-boyfriend is in front of my dorm in my new school and front of my door?

"Hey sweetheart! Hope you don't mind I'm here. If I knew you were transferring to this school too I would have gotten in contact with you since a few weeks ago!" Craig smiled as he leaned in closer and tried to wrap his arm around my waist. "Craig stop it! What are you doing here? And who told you where I was staying?" I  was furious and annoyed at  his sudden presence, but somehow, I knew how he ended finding out....my mother.

"Relax sweetheart! Your mom called me and told me to look after you. I told her back in May I was planning to move out here and attend school while I did my internship with my father's business."

"Ok! Well good for you. But I don't need you to look after me. I can take care of myself. Bye Craig!" I grip the door handle and moved the door to shut it, but Craig managed to push it open.

That's when Russell got a little upset, if there's one thing I learned from this....is that he hated, was to see a man act like an asshole in front of a women. He moved infront of Samantha and clenched his jaw looking straight into Craig's eyes.

"Did you not here her? She said she can take care of herself, and if she does need help, she's got friends to take care of her. Now I suggest if you don't want me to throw you out, you leave...Now!!" He came close to Craig's face and fisted his hands by his sides. His knuckles turning white.

Craig was all talk, he loved dominating women, but had never been in any physical confrontation with a guy. He smiles and steps back while nodding his head. "Very well! Your body guard here can look after you for now, Sam. But sooner or later, you're gonna look for me and beg me to take you back!"

"I don't think so, Craig. Bye now." I say, looking at him with disgust  through gritted teeth as I softly hold Russell's back.

Craig chuckles and turns on his heel. "Sooner or later Sam! Sooner or later you'll want to take me back sweetheart." He yells over his shoulder as he continues to walk away. I can't help but feel frustrated, yet the way Russell stood up for me, made me feel protected.

"Thank you for standing up for me Russell. But you didn't have to." I whisper as I let go of his back and walk towards the kitchen island. He closes the door and walks towards me, sitting on the stool. "Sam, you said it yourself; we're friends, and friends look out for each other. Plus that guy got off easy, I should of punched him in the face for talking to you like he owned you." He narrowed his eyebrows and leaned his head down.

I smiled and nod my head. "Thank you, but that wasn't necessary. I think he got the point. But either way, thank you." I say chuckling as I think of how Craig always runs from a physical confrontation. We both stood there in a comfortable silence. Though deep inside, I knew things were going to be a rocky road ahead, now with Craig back in the picture, things were bound to get ugly.

I can't believe I was so in love with that douche. He wasn't just a two-timing scumbag, but a coward most of all.

  • Russell   Get Ready To Fight

SamI woke up early the next day and sighed, feeling Russell stir. Things were rocky between my parents and I. But I was more worried about Russell's case. His uncle gives me bad vibes. There is just something about him I don't like. I am not sure what it is, but he is bad news. I couldn't help but stare at him As he slept. I ran my hand softly through his hair. It was getting long on top, but he kept it well-shaved on the bottom. I smiled as I ran my finger in a feather-like motion over his neck. He had a small mole on his collarbone, making him Look sexy. His tattoos on his chest, arms, and back were a mixture of things—everything he loved, from chemistry to wolves and his parent's names. Russell was the most mysterious guy I had ever met, which made him more intriguing than I could admit. He sighs, grunting and stretching a little, making me smile. He unconsciously pulls me by the waist and hugs me tightly against him. His head rested on my bare chest. This only meant one thin

  • Russell   I Won't Let You Come Between Us

Russell’s POVI woke up earlier than usual today. Sam was still sound asleep, making me smile as she sighed. I pressed a kiss on her exposed back and got up. I got dressed and went directly to the kitchen, prepared coffee for when she got up, and began making breakfast for her. I opened the cupboard and realized we were completely out of her coffee muffins, making me grunt. Lucky for me, there's a cafe right under us. I grabbed my hoodie, keys, and wallet. I went down the elevator and made a beeline to the cafe register. "Hey, Russell. Good morning." the barista greets me, making me smile. "Hey, Emilio. Six coffee muffins and six cinnamon rolls, please." I place my order and slide my card, paying for my goods. "Got it. I'll have your order out soon. Here, why don't you have a coffee in the house while you wait." he slides a fresh cup toward me, making me smile. "Are you sure?" I ask, looking up. "Yeah, man. On the house. Enjoy." he says, tapping the counter and nodding. "Thanks,

YOU MAY EITHER SKIP TO THE NEXT CHAPTER KF IT IS ALREADY AVAILABLE, OR KINDLY WAIT FOR THE NEXT ONE. AS FOR THE REST OF YOU, ENJOY 😏✨✨✨✨✨~Sam~My dad held me tight as I cried silently. I was still feeling dumbfounded by what I had just witnessed. How was Mom so blinded? Did she not see all the harm Craig was causing me? Did she not care? It seems she was more worried about him, his stupid mom, and their damn social life. I have never cared what they have to say in that damn club. All those ladies in her circle are nothing but stuck-up-rich hags who boast in gossiping about each other."Sam? What's wrong? Is everything ok?" I hear Russell's voice call from behind us, making me feel like crying again. I let go of my dad's arms and engulf Russell in a tight hug. Letting him embrace me tightly as he sighs,

  • Russell   High Class Princess

SamanthaI feel so shaken up, even after days of the incident with Craig. My mom, of course, was still mad at me. I had numerous calls from her and from Craig's mom, begging me to drop the charges against him. But believe it or not, my dad warned me not to do it. I didn't want to deter the relationship between him and Craig's dad. The man is a very nice guy and a complete gentleman, unlike his son who's the biggest douch I had ever met. I can't believe I ever dated him. Russell fought two nights ago, and I was ecstatic that he had won the fight. He almost lost of course, after the maniac that fought against him realized he had a hairline fracture on his rib, hurting Russell repeatedly on his ribs. But that only fueled Russell to keep going. The fight went on pretty crazy until the third round, where Russell knocked the guy unconscious from a blow to the face. I was so excited that I cheered for him like a maniac. Except, I didn't know that the fight was going to be aired on TV. Dad

  • Russell   She’s Too High Class For You

RussellPhoebe was still hugging Sam as we assured everyone that she was ok. Meanwhile, Uncle Fred and Russell gave their statements to the officer. "I would still like to have her come down to the station for a written statement if you don't mind." the officer told me, making me look at her worriedly. I was still pretty pissed off and if it wasn't for my uncle I probably would have kept punching the daylights out of Craig. I don't care who the hell he thinks he is. I will not allow him to keep bothering Sam and I will definitely not allow her to ever touch her again. "Very well, officer. I will take her myself if you don't mind," I say, looking back at the officer. They contemplate, making Sam look at me nervously. The last I need is to have her ride in the back of a police vehicle as if she were a criminal. "I'm sure there would be no problem. Make sure it's today though. I can't keep him unless you officially sign a statement to press charges against him." he says, making me gr

  • Russell   You're An Idiot

Sam (two days later)Russell and I slept the whole ride home, and he got to the new gym his uncle had requested him just in time. But he was exhausted. His new dear uncle Caleb did not make it easy for him either. He had him working out without rest the very next day. I haven't seen him much other than when he came to sleep last night, and he was up early this morning, working out again. As the hours went by and Russell continued to train, his uncle became more and more demanding. I was so mad I had to leave for a while. Besides the fact that I was starving. Russell was not willing to give up though. He took a few minutes to rest, ate a quick breakfast, and was back to the trainer. Time after time, Russell kept up with Caleb's demands and trained like crazy. Just hours into his training, he had been beaten up pretty badly, but he was willing to stick around. He was making a big impression on everyone. He had just fought days before, and he was still pretty roughed up, fresh bruises

  • Russell   Dissatisfaction

SamanthaI was eagerly waiting for Russell to come out of the dressing rooms. A big smile on my face as I see spectators ask for him, waiting on him to give autographs. I couldn't believe it. Is this really happening? I mean, I thought this wasn't a big fight, it was supposed to be just a small fight. The big show was still happening inside, yet so many people had gotten out of their seats to wait on him. He finally comes out, next to Uncle Fred and his uncle Caleb. Fred looked so happy. But I could see Caleb's fake smile. I've always been able to tell when people are faking it, and this guy was totally faking his happiness for them. I mean, I don't get it. What is his deal? Why can't he be happy for them? He hasn't seen Russell for years. Why can't he be happy that he finally has a chance to catch up with him? He's giving me a bad vibe, and I have a feeling he is going to give us a bad time."Get some sleep kid. I expect you back in Cali tomorrow afternoon for training. You did w

  • Russell   Show Them What You Got

SamI woke up to an empty bed at the hotel. Russell had probably gotten up early to go train. He's been training hard for the last three days non-stop. His uncle Caleb has been so harsh with him. He has a dirty mouth, cursing and yelling at everyone. He surely doesn't care about leaving a good impression on anyone. To make matters worse, Uncle Fred and Caleb have been eyeing each other with deadly stares. I don't get it, they're brothers. Family. Yet- they seem to despise each other. I was sure they had already faced each other somewhere else. I got a glance at the red mark on Caleb's left cheek, most likely from Fred's hook to his face. He of course played it off when Russell asked him about it. Told him to focus on his own problems if he wanted to keep his sponsorship.Fred kept it from us as well, brushing it off, and changing the conversation each time Russell brings it up. That was- until last night though. Andrew finally answered back one of many missed calls. We were out havi

  • Russell   Mr. Knight

Third Person POV"Mr. Knight, your flight will be boarding soon sir, can I offer you another glass of wine, while you wait?" Caleb looks up at the flight attendant, smiling at her as she holds the bottle of Bordeaux. "Please, call me Caleb," he answers, giving her a wink. He knew she was easily his oldest son's age, but that has never stopped him from messing with a pretty face and curvy body. She smiles, blushingly, and slowly pours more Bordeaux into his glass flute. "Let me know if I can get you anything else," she says as she walks away, swaying her hips intentionally. He oozed with luxury, and of course, she had to take advantage of the situation. Before long, they were intertwined. Her legs wrapped around his waist as he sunk deep inside her. The bathroom was far too crowded, but it didn't bother him to pound inside her inside a filthy janitor's closet. It wouldn't be the first time either. He's always had any girl he wants. No one had said no to him. When he was done, he buckl
