Chapter 27 Alpha Grayson's pov

The silver in my system hurt. It felt like all my veins were pumping lava throughout my body. My Lycan was at full bore and helped me deal with the poison and caused me to be a gigantic asshole. Mabel had been gone for hours and I was hungry. I dressed in casual clothes and went downstairs to my kitchen to search for something to put in my belly. I was surprised by Harkin walking in from the patio off the kitchen and glaring at him.

"Forget to knock?" I questioned him. He just glared at me back.

"I only came to tell you that Luna made it to her mother's cottage and I assigned three warriors to the area that came from Frank," he growled roughly and I shrugged as I continued preparing my sandwich. I lifted it and asked if he wanted one. Harkin shook his head, giving me a judgmental glare.

"You still look like shit, Alpha. You should be in bed and allow your body to heal," he grunted harshly as I ignored him and sat at the table.
