Chapter Fourty-Five

Alex's POV

Lisa was my girlfriend and we had planned to get married before I got attacked in the restroom of that restaurant by Kim's men.

The memories came back to me easily and I could recall everything that happened. 

I jumped into the pool to save her and found the engagement ring on her body. I held her and brought her out of the pool.

I waited for a second to catch my breath before looking at her. I checked her breath to check if she was breathing. She wasn't, I felt my heart beat increase rapidly.

Gently, I tilted her head back and used one hand to hold her chin and lift it up, I kept her mouth open using my thumb.

I placed my other hand on her forehead and pinched her nose with my index finger and thumb.

I silently hoped it worked so we could be together again. I didn't want to lose her, I wanted her to live a normal life with me.
