Chapter Fourty-One

Lisa's POV

I looked at him, wondering if I should tell you the truth. "I can't tell you. That's for you to find out on your own."

He touched his head and sighed. "I don't know, I get these weird images and there's always a lady there. I'm confused."

I knew I was the lady but I couldn't do anything, I couldn't keep on hurting myself. 

"You'll figure it out soon." I reassured him with a casual smile.

He looked at my hands and pointed to my ring. "That ring! Are you engaged."

Tears tickled in my eyes and I nodded. "Yeah, I was supposed to get married before an unfortunate thing happened to me." I explained, trying to hold the tears that wanted to come out of my eyes.

He smiled and touched my cheeks. I wondered why he couldn't recall giving me the ring. He was the one who slid the ring through my finger and proposed to me but he couldn't remember.

"Amanda invited me for a party this evening, will you like to come?" He asked, politely.
