Chapter Fourty

Lisa's POV

We walked into the cafeteria and occupied a seat at the back. Amanda irritated me with her lousy and naughty attitude. 

"What will you like to have, sir?" The waiter asked Alex as he came to us.

Alex looked at Amanda before looking at me. "Lisa, what do you think I should eat?" He asked.

"I don't know." I answered.

"You should tell me, I'm interested in whatever you eat." He told me.

"Don't you care for my opinion?" Amanda asked and touched his cheeks.

I almost stood up to slap her, "I don't care." Alex answered bluntly and I chuckled.

He was never interested in Alex, I believed that the both of us were soulmates. It was definitely true, we were both connected in a way.

I squeezed his hands gently and he looked at me. "You should try Cobb salad."

"What's that?" He asked.

"I'll explain it to you soon," I turned to face the water. "Bring two plates of cobb salad."

"Make it three." Amanda said and eyed me.

I laughed. "Whatever." I
