Chapter Thirty-Seven

Lisa's POV

Tears rolled down my cheeks as I stared at Alex who laid down on the hospital bed unconscious. Oliver walked in and placed his hands on my shoulder. "He'll be alright." He reassured me.

"It's been three days and he hasn't woken up." I reminded him with a worried expression. I was really worried that something bad would happen to him and I was not ready to lose him because I loved him so much.

"Kim and James are already in jail, you've got justice. The cops found the CCTV and the recording showed that Kim's men attacked him. They caught the waiter and he confessed." He revealed with a light smile.

I nodded. It was definitely great news that Kim and James were already in jail but Alex was still unconscious and that was what made me sad. "I have a feeling all will be alright." I told him, I wanted to muster up courage.

He smiled.

Suddenly, Alex's hands moved towards mine and I almost screamed. "He's awake." I told Oliver who quickly ran to call the doctor.&
