I surprisingly pushed the door open, it wasn't locked. I walked in and my heart raced. The house was silent, "Alex," I called out and I heard a slight moan behind the sofa.

I quickly fell to the floor when I saw Alex groaning in pain. "Alex, who did this to you?" I asked with tears, it appeared that he was bleeding from maybe a fight.
