One week later

Had you ever felt that even after being free, you were still in a prison, a mental cage which was strangling you ruthlessly with every passing second, tightening its brutal grip more lethal but you were not able to free yourself from it no matter how much you struggled, this was what I was feeling.

I still couldn’t bring myself to believe that I was in my home, away from his cage, with my parents who pushed me into that hell to maintain their dignity in the society.

The light green wall of my room was giving me every reason to assure myself that I was free from him, then why was I not feeling this

Why did I feel as if I was still his prisoner even though I was far away from his deadly grey eyes??
