CHAPTER 7

Kieran pov

I black out.

When I was back in control, Elina was in my arms hugging me, it calmed me, but she quickly pulled away from me as if she was caught doing something bad. I asked her what had happened, if Kade said anything to her, but she answered no.

She avoided looking at me, and asked if we could leave soon. As we ride on, I make sure to avoid body contact with Elina. I am not sure if she was the one who triggered that monster in me, but for now I need to avoid her, get back to the pack and lock myself up.

“Kade, did you say something to Elina?” I asked.

‘Why are you asking?’ he said.

“Kade, you promised not to do anything” I said.

‘And I did nothing, Asshole. I just saved your ass. You could have turned into that beast and ripped out Elina's head and other people, ' he said.

“I don't need your help, I had it under control,” I said.

‘Yeah, it seems like that,’ Kade said sarcastically.

‘If I haven't taken control, you and I know what would have happened’ he continues.

“Thanks” I said.

‘As if. It is getting stronger, Kieran. I am not sure I could control it for long. If it takes full control we are done for.’ he said.

“It has never happened like this before, right, but why is it happening?” I asked.

‘I don't know. Kieran. I am sorry,’ he said.

For the first time, my wolf words sounded sincere.

When we arrived at the pack, I stopped the bike in front of the pack house. I watched as Elina looked around, she smiled. Goddess, she looks so beautiful.

We walked in. I watched as Lina and Ezra welcomed her. She and Lina clicked quickly. I spotted a good friendship between the women. I need to talk to Ezra, I need to know why this is happening…

“You brought cake?” Lina asked Elina, bring me out of my thoughts.

“No, I didn't. Kieran said you asked him to buy cake” Elina said, they all turned to me. I smiled awkwardly.

“I did?” Lina asked me, smiling knowingly. I begged with my eyes, hoping she would play along. “ Yes, you mentioned it to me and Ezra, so I decided to buy it” I answered, avoiding looking at Elina.

“Ahhh yes. Sorry, pregnancy hormones. I forgot things sometimes,” Lina lied, smiling.

I don't care what Lina is thinking, but I know she would nag me, to know if I felt something for Elina, the woman doesn't know when to stop, if she is determined to know something and the pregnancy makes her more crazy.

“And it's cheese cake, who loves cheese cake? ” Lina said.

“Elina!” Ezra and I answered, “Oh” Lina replied.

Elina looked around as if looking for someone or something. “ Who are you looking for? Elina,” Lina asked.

“Where is Naya, I haven't seen her yet?” Elina asked.

“Naya is dead,” I answered, not caring.

“What?!!” Elina exclaimed.

“Ezra, see me in my office” I said walking into the hall that leads to my office. I walked not looking back at Elina, not wanting her to see the monster in me, or that I have become. If I say I killed Naya, I wonder if she will hate me.

I signed as I sat behind my desk, closing my eyes.

“ Kieran, are you okay?” Ezra asked, I didn't notice him come in.

“Dude, are you okay? Or do I need to put beta mode on?” He asked when I didn't reply.

“No, I am fine. The monster… I need you to chain me up and turn the voltage higher. I need the surge to stay whole, ” I answered.

“Shit. it was supposed to be next Friday, why a week early?” Ezra asked.

“I almost turned to that monster today, right in front of Elina,” I said.

“We can't be sure, Kieran. I can't chain you up, it will kill you” Ezra said.

“No, Ezra. I can still feel it trying to take control,” I persuade him.

“No, I am not doing that. You would died” Ezra argued.

“Ezra please” I begged.

“No”

“ I ordered you, Beta!” I used my Alpha voice, “ I am sorry…” I said, I just need him to do what I asked.

“Please,” I continued, looking at him. He bowed his head in submission.

“Yes, Alpha, when do you like to be chained?” he asked, not looking at me.

“Now” I answered.

I opened the secret room. We walked in, the heavy chains remind me of the pain I am about to feel. Pain is what keeps me sane, if not Violence will be the only thing that keeps me sane.

“ Are you okay ?” Ezra asked me, as he chains me up and looks for any discomfort.

“I am fine, I won't die,” I said. He smiled,

“ Since I am the eldest here, I need to take care of you and keep you in check,” Ezra said jokingly.

“You were just two hours older,” I said cockily, “ I see you aren't mad at me”.

“I am not. Mind link me if this thing gets uncomfortable and don't die on me. Alpha”

“I will try,” I said.

“Are you ready?’ he asked, looking at me for confirmation. I nodded, I watched as he increased the voltage.

“Goddess, I hate this” he whispered.

“Agrhhhhhhhh!!!” I screamed baring my fangs.

“Go!!, leave now!” I managed to say to Ezra.

“Mindlink me….”

“Just go!!” I groan, trying to escape the chains, the monster is trying to take control.

“Okay” he said and left. His footsteps drown in my screams.
