Elina pov

Kieran opened the door for me, I walked to the bike, then I noticed that there was no presence behind me, I turned only to find Kieran standing outside of the door motionless. I walked back to him.

“Kieran, Kieran” I called, “Kieran, are you okay?” I asked, touching his arm.

“Yes I am fine, firefly.” He answered, only one person called me firefly and that is Kade, his wolf. I looked up to his eyes only to find red eyes staring back at me

“Kade?!!!”I asked shockingly, “Surprised, to see me firefly.” He said smugly, Kieran always has this calmly cold expression while Kade totally the opposite, Kade will have this smug, arrogant playfully look on him.

“Miss me?” Kade said, hold my arm and pulled me to his chest. “Yeah, but why are you here?. What happened to Kieran” I asked.

“Goddess. I am hurt, Firefly. That asshole will not let you see and I wanted to see my firefly” he said, if there is something I know Kieran and Kade don't agree on the same things, they have different opinions and Kade as Kieran’s counterpart wasn't easy for Kieran himself.

“Ohhh, I missed you too” I said smiling, scared he would sense Elle, I don't want him to know anything. Today is already crazy enough.

“Really??” He asked.

“Yes, why don't we talk later Kade, give control back to Kieran, he needs to take me back to the pack.” I said nervously, not looking into his eyes, as an Alpha, I know he can sense my feelings, and that is the last thing I want.

“Getting rid of me soon, firefly.” He smirked.

“No, no, no…” I said softly, before he cut me off. “It's okay , give me a hug, first” he said not waiting for my reply before he pulled me into his chest and sniffed my neck, Elle purred at the gesture and also me, I breathed his smell in, to calm Elle.

“That fucking mutt ”Kieran said, I quickly pushes him away.

“I am sorry, Kade asked for a hug t..t..that I..is wh..y I am hugging you. Goddess I am so sorry. I forgot you have a mate” I quickly said, what was I thinking, why did Kade sniff me and hug me.

“It is okay, E. You don't need to apologize,” Kieran said.

“No..no, it is not” I said. Goddess what have I done.

“It is okay E. You don't have to worry” he said in his alpha voice but softly and calmly, I felt Elle whimpered not that she is scared but how his voice smoothen us. I nodded quickly avoiding looking at him.

“Did Kade say anything…” he asked, looking at me.

“No.” I answered, not knowing how to explain what happened between me and Kade.

Kieran signed, as if he was relieved, was it because of Kade or something, I stiffly smiled. “Can we start going?” I said.

“Yes, sorry” he said. I caught him staring at me but he quickly looked away when our eyes met.

Throughout the ride to the pack, Kieran seems to avoid body contact with me, which made Elle whimper sadly.

“What was I thinking, he had a mate. Goddess while this is happening to me”.

“Welcome to the Ironfang pack.” Kieran said as we stopped in front of the pack house.

“ Ezra and Lina will be waiting for us

inside” he said. We walked inside, the house I noticed in front of every houses in the pack there is bikes, it seems like everyone is now a biker.

‘he really made it happen’ I smiled at my thoughts.

We walked into the house. In the living room, Ezra stands beside a woman, guiding her, the woman who is heavily pregnant and who I also guess is his mate, her black hair falling on her shoulder smooth. She is beautiful

“You are Elina, Goddess you are gorgeous” the softly, bubbly voice cut my thoughts off.

“I am Lina, your brother mate” she said, pulling me towards her for a hug.

“How was your flight, I hope this grumpy Alpha wasn't that grumpy toward you” she said looking at Kieran with a suspicious look.

“It was fine, thanks and he wasn't that bad” I smiled.

“You look beautiful, how are you mate with this beautiful being, Ezra. You sure got lucky, big bro” I said to Ezra tauntly.

“Welcome back, little sis. I don't know either, I just got lucky, that angel is my mate” he smirked proudly as he kissed her.

“You brought cake?” she asked me.

“No, I didn't. Kieran said you asked him to buy cake” I said confused, she and Ezra turned to Kieran, and I also turned to him.

“I did?” Lina asked Kieran, “Yes, you mentioned it to me and Ezra, so I decided to buy it” Kieran replied, avoiding looking at me.

“Ahh, yes. Sorry pregnancy hormones. I forget things sometimes.” She said, as she looked at Kieran smiling as if she knew something, then I noticed ‘where is Naya, is she not supposed to be here’

“And it is cheese cake, who loves cheese cake,” Lina said.

“Elina!” Ezra and Kieran say at the same time. “Oh” Lina said.

I looked around, looking and listening if she was there. “Who are you looking for, Elina?” Lina asked.

“Where is Naya, I haven't seen her yet?” I asked.

“Naya is dead,” Kieran said, with no emotion in his eyes.

“What?!!”
