Damien's hands vibrated and so did his heart. This was all because of the piece of paper in between his fingers.

Tears which he would never allow to roll down his cheeks formed in his eyes and he fought so hard to hold them back.

Damien had always acted tough in the face of everything, but the information, though crafted in simple words, tore him apart.

For the first time in his life, Damien felt like letting the tears stream down his cheeks.

He had heard many times and had also become one of those people who believed that men didn't cry because they had to be strong in every situation. But this time around, he just wanted to cry and let out all of his emotions till there was no more strength in him to cry.
