Amelia's POV

I could feel the tension in the air as Ethan and I sat in our dimly lit living room, surrounded by the remnants of shattered glass from the shattered window. The room seemed to close in on us, amplifying the fear that pulsed through our veins.

"What is happening, Amelia?" Ethan's voice trembled with a mix of concern and frustration. "Who could be behind all this? And why are they targeting us?"

I clutched his hand tightly, seeking solace in his touch. "I wish I knew, Ethan. But whoever it is, they seem determined to tear us apart. We can't ignore these threats any longer."
