Amelia's POV

The sun had barely risen as I made my way through the bustling streets of the city. It was another day filled with the usual routine, the familiar hum of the city enveloping me as I approached Blackwood Enterprises, the towering headquarters that housed my husband's vast business empire. But little did I know that today would be anything but ordinary.

As I entered the sleek, modern office building, a sense of familiarity and security washed over me. The reception area buzzed with activity, the employees engrossed in their tasks. I exchanged greetings with the receptionist, a friendly face who always had a warm smile for me.

With a brisk stride, I made my way to Ethan's corner office on the top floor, eager to share the morning coffee ritual we had established over the years. The door swung open, and I stepped inside, expecting to find Ethan immersed in his work.

But instead, I found him locked in an intense conversation with a man I recognized as Jacob Mitchell, one of Et
