CHAPTER 27

She was about to slap me but my palm quickly caught her hand.

I stared at her. Eye to eye.

She quickly pulled her hand away from me and stepped back.

"Now get out of here!" She shouted again.

I looked into her eyes. And while I was doing that, I was trying to suppress the emotions that wanted to show up.

"Why did you tell him that?" I asked. I really wanted to cry already.

It's like my body is running out of tears.

"What are you talking about?!" She shouted flatly.

"Why did you tell Vish about me and uncle?" I tear fell when I mentioned the word 'uncle'.

"Oh! So, you've been listening all this time," she crossed her arms over her chest. "It's my life, so I'll say whatever I want to say. And what do you care if I said that? Why, isn't it true?
