Chapter Twenty-Four

Xander stopped in his tracks a few steps away from me, he closed his eyes and inhaled deeply as if he is trying to control his anger.

He should not do that, it will only make me feel guilty. "Why are you going back on your word?" He questioned and I raised a brow at him.

"What word?" I questioned as his word sounded like a riddle to me. "A certain person said to me, 'I will do whatever you say master'," he quoted me.

How does he remember that, he acts like our conversation is the last thing he needs yet he keeps every detail in his mind.

"Do you remember?" He asked and I gulped down. "Yeah," I huffed.

"Why are you going back on your word?" He repeated his question walking closer.

"I was bored," I answered. "That isn't an excuse," he stated.

"It isn't an excuse, I was bored and he offered to take me out. I couldn't have said no," I defended.

"You told him you were bored?" he gasped softly. "You could have called me, what did you call him?!" He growled lowly.
