"Alright bye nan, love you." I put the phone down as I sat at my desk.

"Nanny Duggan, how is she?" Leon asked, handing me a coffee. I turned my computer on, looking up at him.

"She's okay, she isn't feeling that great this morning." I shrugged. Leon was looking through some papers and put them down, his eyes on mine.

"How so?" He asked, my butterflies returning. I really needed Leon to meet her, she would absolutely love him.

"Just a bit blah, she said. I'm not sure."

"Are you worried?" Leon asked, before taking a sip of coffee.

"A little bit, I suppose. I'm going to see her Friday." I looked at him. I had basically been staying at Leon's for a month now, him dropping me about a ten minute walk to work so I came in after. I looked up at Matt, my new partner. Leon was our sergeant and although I thought Matt was good, I suppose, he was no Leon.

"Morning guys." He waved, sitting at his desk.

"Morning Matt." I smiled, Leon giving him a wave. Matt had dirty blonde hair, his pale skin
