Chapter 44: Puzzled

JADE'S POV:

“We are alive”. Hardin exclaimed in excitement as he inspected himself.

“I thought we had died, Kieran dug his claws in my heart. So how did we become alive again and I don't seem to feel any pain at all”. Scott asked curiously.

I had to lie to them because if they found out that it was my blood that restored them back to life, I would be in danger.

Apart from Pearl, I don't know any other enemy that might harm me, so I need to be careful.

“Actually, I came and met you two breathing but it was very faint. I think it's a miracle because I only wished for the goddess to restore back your lives and when my tears fell on both of you, you two woke up”. I said to them, and I pray to the goddess that they believe me.

“I think Jade has a special kind of power. The wizard said she is Kieran's true mate and she is the only one that can calm him down”. Bryan explained to Scott and Hardin who looked at me with surprise.
