MIKAEL'S POINT OF VIEW
It's already 7AM when I woke up because of the knocking at my dormitory door.
I slightly scratched the corner of my eye while walking my way through the doorway. I flinched at the sudden burst of light when I opened the door.
"Argh!" I groaned because of it and it also made me cuss in the back of my mind.
When I sobered up, I looked at my visitors that were standing before me. I swallowed the lump of my throat when I finally recognized these guests. I remembered that I am only half-baked with my boxers. I hurriedly grabbed my robe and immediately put it on.
Who would have thought that 'that' woman is here?! It's so embarrassing!!
In front of me is the SSG President, Christian and... a man that is wearing a mask that only shows his other eye while covering almost his entire face. He is glaring at me while standing beside the SSG President closely.
"C-come in." I stuttered as I widened the opening of the door.
They did come in and took a seat at the couch, the President in between of these men. I noticed that the masked man and President were holding each other's hands that caused me to taste a bit of sourness.
Yes! I am jealous!
"What is your business with me that deserves my door to be almost destroyed by your knockings?" I complained.
Christian only scratched the back of his head while the two looked at me with coldness and indifference.
"We are here to deliver these to you." Christian responded with a box in his hands.
I reached for it and opened it curiously. Inside of it are five sets of uniforms, some school supplies exclusively from Oracle Academy and the list of my schedule inside of the Oracle Academy manual.
"Uhm. Thank you." I replied.
"Okay! We're done here! Come on." Ms. SSG President said coldly.
"Uhm. W-wait!"
Even though it is so embarrassing for me to ask, I cannot call them randomly with some alias, and titles they have, right?
"What is it?" The SSG President asked coldly.
"I just want to... know your... name." I asked, stuttering. I closed my eyes tightly. I am not ready to be humiliated again by her remarks.
I am shocked to hear her laughter after the long deafening silence that followed my stuttering. I am not shocked in any other way but because this is the first time I saw her laugh like this because since yesterday, she has not stopped expressing her dislike to me, though I understand why.
While laughing, her perfect set of teeth and deep dimples are evident. She is so cute, especially with those teary eyes while laughing.
"Tian, didn't you inform him?" She asked while she was still at it.
"Uhm. He didn't ask for it though." The Vice President responded with an uneasy smile.
"Okay. Let us introduce ourselves then." She said.
She placed her right hand to her left side of her chest and then slightly bowed her head like how you can see with the typical butler's greetings to their masters.
"My name is Khrystyanna Solano. Can be called Yanna, for short. President of the Supreme Student Government of the Oracle Academy. Sophomore, one (2-1)." She introduced herself with a quick wink.
I feel my face getting hot again.
Christian stood up as well and repeated the gestures of Khrystyanna and smiled. "I am Christian Redd dela Cruz. You can call me Chris. Vice President of the Supreme Student Government of Oracle Academy. Junior, one (3-1)."
The masked man reluctantly stood up and introduced himself as well. "Cedric Kyle Valenciana. Zed. Sophomore, one (2-1)."
"Uhm. I am Mikael Jace del Fuego. Please call me, Mike." I introduced myself in return.
Cedric placed his arms all over Khrystyanna that is still laughing. This position of his is like an act of ownership that made my mood go sour.
Why do they seem so close? Close enough that Khrystyanna doesn't even care whatever Cedric is doing to her?
"Okay! It's time for us to go out and do our business. See you later." Khrystyanna said.
As the three walked away from my dorm, I watched them and saw how close the three were, especially Cedric and Khrystyanna. The urge to know who Cedric is so strong because of the jealousy I feel inside. It's so strong that I cannot deny even the changes in my body.
Whoever he is, Khrystyanna will still be mine in the end.
But as I watch them, they seem so happy, especially Khrystyanna with Cedric. And until they are all gone from my line of sight, there is only one question stuck on my head: will I ever be given a chance to make her smile because of myself?
I sighed and then entered my dorm. As those thoughts keep on replaying in my head, my back is slowly sliding down against the wall. And I realized how envious I am with Cedric who is very close with her.
"Ugh! I groaned as I clapped my cheeks with my palm. "Wake up, Mikael! You have your own traits and skills that that masked man do not have! You will be able to have your chance one day!"
And with that, I decided to prepare myself for my first day in the Oracle Academy.
CEDRIC'S POINT OF VIEWMe and Khrystyanna with Christian came together to pay the transferee named Mikael a visit. I feel uncomfortable and annoyed today because I feel like that brat is stealing Khrystyanna's attention. It was supposed to be me, and me only. I may sound like a jealous boyfriend, but that green monster inside of me is consuming my whole being especially when I saw Khrystyanna laugh because of that brat Mikael. And because of it, I cannot help my dark intent towards that man. When we arrived at the outside of the dorm, Khrystyanna knocked at the door. And while waiting, I asked Khrystyanna with an annoyed tone. "Why do we need to pay him a visit? He may be the son of the Principal but, this is way too over the top even with his identity!" Khrystyanna smiled and then approached me as she fixed up my messy neck tie. I cannot help but to watch her every move as it makes me fall over her every minute and moment I am with her, and makes me blush even when we are not to
MIKAEL'S POINT OF VIEWWhile being taught by the teacher on how to make cupcakes— which is their current activity today— I noticed that most of the students here, especially the boys, seem to dislike me. I cannot help but to sigh because of it. "Khrys." I heard the voice of Cedric, calling Khrystyanna from the table in front of mine. "Kyle?" Khrystyanna responded, calling Cedric's exclusive nickname for her. I cannot help but to notice and watch them from my position. There are a lot of servings of cupcakes that she is making! Cedric made her eat the strawberry in his hand. I cannot help but to sweat and swallow the lump in my throat while watching her. The time seemed to slow down while the strawberry was being served to her until she chewed and swallowed it. I cannot help but to watch them enviously. I thought of how if I am the one beside her and doing lots of fun things with her? How if I am the one she can only see in her world? I shook my head as the greediness in my natur
KHRYSTYANNA'S POINT OF VIEWAfter the Home Economics class, me and Kyle (Cedric) bid our farewells to Ms. Ross and Mikael after she informed us that she had something to explain to the new student. As we both saw it to be reasonable, the two of us rushed outside while carrying the box of cupcakes the two of us made during our class. I want to give these to my colleagues in the Student Council as a form of gratitude for their efforts and hard work. Yes! This is for the Council's. I may be narcissistic in this statement but, I am born with this kindness and with the eye for appreciation for the right people. But, nevertheless, I really have this habit to do even small things for those people who deserve it the most. The Council are not only my colleagues but my friends and family inside the four walls of Oracle Academy. Words cannot simply give justice on how hard working they are. And this little effort I am doing for them is just nothing compared to the merits they have. When we ar
KHRYSTYANNA'S POINT OF VIEW "I am jealous!" Kyle exclaimed that made me stunned to the point that I almost dropped my gun. At the very same time, it felt as if the time slowed down and what we could only hear was the deafening silence between us and the metal sounds from my bullets on the ground. My eyes are wide open as my mind carefully processes what just happened. My mind went into turmoil as I finally realized what he really meant. 'Is this the answer from my prayers?' I thought while still staring at this masked guy in front of me. Despite what I heard, I still cannot make myself believe my hunch on what he really means. I do not want to expect more. I don't want to be drowned from my own delusions and illusions. A question popped in my head as a result. 'Why is he jealous?' I feel like an idiot for the first time in my life. Who would have thought that the famous SSG President of the Oracle Academy would have this moment? If someone gets wind of this they will surely no
MIKAEL'S POINT OF VIEWAfter our confrontation that day, I didn't see both Khrystyanna and Cedric. Well, I am more concerned with Khrystyanna to be honest. And I do not know why Cedric is being hostile towards me. Maybe, because he knows my feelings already? Well, that is not my point. My point is that, it's been a week already that Khrystyanna is absent. It also means that I have a completely incomplete week. "Hmm. Where has she been?" I mumbled while looking up at the sky. "She's already in the competition, bruh." Christian responded as he gently tapped my shoulder that stated his presence. I looked down and then turned to him. I smiled after hearing a clear answer from someone who really knows her. "Really?" I asked excitedly. "Yes. Why? Don't tell me that you only see me as a… liar? That hurts, you know?" He teased me while putting his hand on his chest like he was having a heart attack and in pain. "Why? Missed her?" He added. I smiled and then answered him honestly. "Yeah
SOMEONE'S POINT OF VIEWI was reading today's newspaper when I saw some very interesting news written in it. 'The Sharp Shooter: The Oracle's Pride' was written in bold letters. I smirked at the sight of the picture attached to it. A beautiful lady with fiery red long hair who is holding a very exquisite gun in her hands. She is aiming at the target with her pair of keen silver eyes. It makes one person lose their mind with a quick glance at this picture, and I must admit that I am no exception. "Finally!" I exclaimed with pure satisfaction and then laughed that echoed inside the limo. "Master~" I glared at those women who are changing my name with their annoying slurry voice. They gasped and went silent as I caressed the picture printed on this thin white sheet of paper. It seems that our joyous reunion is approaching. I am looking forward to it. KHRYSTYANNA'S POINT OF VIEWAs I exited at the gates of Ace Academy— the school that hosted the Target Shooting Competition that I p
MIKAEL'S POINT OF VIEW"What happened to Yanna?!" Christian asked worriedly. Cedric brought Khrystyanna who was unconscious last night. And up until now, she is still at that state, with the difference of the sweat that forms on her from time to time. He also stayed with Khrystyanna silently, ignoring everyone else. Khrystyanna is as pale as a sheet of paper. She looks so lifeless and it really freaks us out who saw her personally. The only proof that she is still alive is her slow and deep breathing and the cold sweat on her body. Me and the other officers that were left by Christian came just to help take care of the unconscious lady. "By the way, fa— the Principal is already on his way to ask for Prez's condition." I informed them. Cedric is still ignoring us. I saw one of his hands was formed into a clenching fists while the other is holding on Khrystyanna's pale hand. "CEDRIC!" We are all startled with the sudden rise of Christian's tone. We both turned to him and saw that h
KHRYSTYANNA'S POINT OF VIEW 'Where am I? Why can I see darkness only wherever I look? What happened?' I started to explore this endless darkness. I may not be aware as to how I am here and why am I in this place, I still walked around, looking for the exit and for where I can return from. Not long after, after a series of sighs and hopelessness, I finally saw a light that just came out from nowhere. I started to run towards its source. Crying with a smile of joy on my face. But when I was about to reach it, a pair of arms held me tight and then pulled me back to the darkness, away from the light. "Let me go!" I screamed while struggling from its embrace. But, instead of loosening, it tightened and made me feel like my bones just broke by its immeasurable power. I gasped when I found this scene so familiar. The way his arms tighten his embrace and this strange feeling. 'No way!' The owner of those arms turned me to face him. And all I can see to him first are those shining bloo
