Introduction

     'Bite her! Bite her! Drink her dry! '

    My cracked lips felt the gush of chilled breeze as I nearly stumbled against the school's concrete floor at the whining of my malnourished stomach.

     Once a fuss of chatter and an outpouring of friends, the hallway had become an endless torrent of order, each of us a careful two meters apart. 

    Keenly, I went after Abigail, my best friend's girlfriend, as she tottled down the hallway by herself, her blue Nike tracksuit was smeared and reeked of fresh blood. 

    I gripped my bag tightly and probably didn't have the time to breathe. For some reason, she smelled so good, like bacon after a long hike. She staggered like an injured deer. 

    She was the prey, I was the predator.

    Just like grades in the high school system, Vampires are hierarchical, from the most powerful and unstoppable down to the less powerful and easily tamed. The first in the order of hierarchy are the; BLACK–eyed Vamps, the darkest. Followed is the RED–eyed Vamps, the most raging, then BLUE–eyed Vamps, the peaceful. YELLOW–eyed Vamps, the most hungry and WHITE–eyed Vamps - The weakest.

    Their eyes only reflect these colors when they turn.

    According to the information accessed by the FORT; a secret organization tasked with the role of exterminating the last Vampires from Hancock and virtually the world, the Black-eyed Vampires are practically indestructible, whether by sunlight, silver, wooden stakes or anything humans has ever fought with.

    Only a few Black-eyed Vampires walk the earth...yet.
