Hear the thunder

"I always wanted to be a hero. I wanted to be the one that everyone could put their faith in no matter the situation. I wanted them to have no fear as long as I was around."

"But here I lay. Alone, waiting for my strength to return while the enemy slays my people."

"I feel helpless"

"I feel weak"

"I feel pain"

Shin lamented as he laid on the ground unable to make a move. Tear flowed out of his eyes as he looked up into the sky.

Then suddenly, a voice came to him saying

"Get up!'

"But I can't" Shin replied

"Get up you foolish son of mine" the voice said again

"There is no weakness In you"

"The numbness in your feet is a lie"

"The fear in your heart is an illusion"

"The pain you feel does not exist"

"So get up"

"Get up, oh son of grace"

"Get up and fight"

"Let them feel your power"

"LET THEM HEAR THE THUNDER!!"

Suddenly, Shin no longer felt any pain in his body. His breathing was fine, his movements were perfect.
