Drew POV:

I woke up with a start, checking the clock by my bed side and saw it was 2:00am. I rolled over my back and rubbed my eyes sleepily wondering what had woken me up by this time. I sat up in bed and looked around, my room door was open. Had I left it open last night before falling asleep? I didn’t think so.

I stood up and walked out of my room, checking to see if things were alright when I heard soft moans coming from the hall way. ‘’Alexa.’’ I immediately hurried over to her, I got to the door and knocked softly at the door but there came no reply from her. I assumed she was deep in sleep and made to return back to my room when I heard the slightest of moans, I stopped in my tracks anger consuming my whole body. ‘’It’s not my thing actually, I just felt the need to do so today.’’ I replied back not taking my eyes off the timer of the microwave. The timer went off soon and I took out my food, dished it and began eating.

I glanced up at her and saw she was already looking at me, a harsh gleam in her eyes. I gulped down some water, ‘’eat Alexa.’’ I spoke to her.

‘’I’m not hungry.’’ She replied

‘’You haven’t touched your food.’’ I gestured to her oatmeal.

‘’I’ve lost my appetite.’’

I watched as she stood up and rushed towards the hall to her room. I checked my phone, it was almost 9am I was late for work already. Even though I was the boss I always kept to time. I sighed and made to leave for work, I was going to talk to Alexa when I return home or maybe I’ll just let her be until she came around.

ALEXAS POV:

After Drew left home, I decided to take a nap as I hadn’t slept all night and also didn’t want to think about the events that took place early this morning. I lost track of time and didn’t realize it was evening yet until my phone went off, I checked to see it was an unknown number. I hesitated for a while but picked on the second ring.

‘’Hello.’’ I said into the phone.

‘’Get dressed and be ready, I’ll pick you up by 7:30pm.’’ A familiar voice I recognized spoke on the phone. I opened my mouth to speak but he dropped the call immediately.

Curiosity got the best of me as I started to wonder why he was going to pick me up and where he would take me to, a part me thrilled at the thought of him going out with me. I checked the time, it was 4pm I had enough time to prepare and even relax. I stood up from the king sized bed and looked around the huge guest bedroom that was now mine, I walked over to the closet to choose an outfit.

I decided I was going to wear a brown color mesh gown, a black leather jacket and a pair of black boot. It was few minutes to 5pm already so I went in the bathroom to take my bath. After taking my bath, I allowed my hair dry naturally then I strengthen it using a mini-stretcher from the stuffs Melissa had got. Then I proceeded to do my makeup which consist of just a mascara, brown powder and lipstick. I wanted to look as natural as possible, I wore my clothes and picked up my purse. It was 7:25pm already, I hurriedly stuffed my purse with few things I might need and just then my phone rang letting me know it was time.

I smiled, he actually kept to time.
