After a few seconds, Colt said, "Put her down, Taki."

Colt has already made his choice. They'll return to his territory the next day. He was also perplexed as to what the elders had to say to him; he knew it was important, which is why he was disturbed.

"Yes, Alpha," Taki answered as he lowered Lilith carefully.

Then Taki and Hiro reverted to their human forms as well.

As he approached Lilith, Colt wondered aloud, "What happened to her?"

"We spotted her running into the woods, and two hunters were attempting to kidnap her; she then fell off the cliff, and we rescued her," Hiro finally said after a long silence.

Taki interjects, "Tss. I was the one who saved her from the brink."

Hiro screamed, "Hey, I was there too, so it was just you and me. You're such a selfish man."
