Grayson’s POV

The hospital smelled of antiseptic. I walked straight to the reception unit, ignoring the curious glances from the late night nurses. My hair was still damp from the rushed shift. My nerves even more so.

“I’m here for Serafine,” I said.

The nurse behind the desk asked, “Who are you to her?”

“I'm her friend.”

“Okay. Give me a second.” the nurse checked her clipboard. Then said, “Ward 17. Second floor, right wing.”

I nodded once. “Thank you.”

I didn’t wait for the elevator. I took t

Alpha Bran's POV The meeting was over. I walked back into my office with Aric following closely behind me.The moment the door shut behind us, silence filled the room. I removed my gloves and tossed them onto the desk.Aric remained standing near the door with a troubled expression on his face.“Why didn’t you tell them?” he asked after a long moment of hesitation.I glanced at him, knowing what he was asking about, but pretended not to. “Tell them what?”“That I’m also a suspect.”My eyes rested on him briefly before I moved toward the cabinet beside my desk. “I’m not giving you mercy if that’s what you think,” I poured myself a drink before continuing.“I’m simply giving you time to come clean and tell me the truth yourself.”“I didn’t kill those men.”“I know.”His brows furrowed deeply as he stared at me.I leaned lightly against the edge of my desk while swirling the alcohol in my glass. “But I need to know one thing. Why did you visit them that night? And why did you strangle

Alpha Bran's POV Every eye turned toward me expectantly for the answers to their questions. I leaned back in my chair before answering.“I believe the sack contained the heads of the victims.”Mrs. Harlow cried out loudly. The widow beside the orphan girl suddenly swayed weakly before collapsing onto the floor.Panic erupted in the hall. The young girl screamed in terror. Aric called for a guard and one rushed in.“Take her to the hospital,” he ordered. The unconscious widow was quickly lifted while the orphan girl watched shakily as the widow was carried out of the hall.Mrs. Harlow sobbed into her husband’s chest while Sammy’s expression twisted with fury. “Why hasn’t Grayson been arrested already?” Sammy asked angrily.“This videos aren't enough. I need a solid evidence.”Sammy slammed both hands against the table, angrily.“That is also why I invited Elder Larkin and the rest of the Crystal Pack elders here this afternoon.”All eyes shifted toward the elderly man.I folded my h

Alpha Bran’s POV Everyone was settled into their seats. The elders occupied the long curved table at the front of the hall while the victims’ families sat several rows below them. Aric stood at my right side while Lupin remained quietly at my left.Every elder present carried a grim expression, which was good for me because what they were about to kniw and see would change everything.I leaned back in my chair before mindlinking Lupin. “Present the case.”His eyes widened subtly as he looked toward me. He hadn’t expected that.Normally, Aric handled formal presentations during meetings like this. Lupin preferred remaining in the shadows where he could observe silently.Several seconds passed without him making any move. Everyone in the hall was waiting.I gave him a small nod of encouragement. Then he inhaled deeply before finally stepping forward. The hall remained silent as he stood before everyone.“As everyone here already knows,” he began calmly, “three young men from this pack

Alpha Bran’s POV Mrs. Harlow sniffed softly before lifting her chin with pride.“Eagles never behave like chickens,” she said coldly.A faint smirk tugged at the corner of my lips. I turned briefly toward Aric. His expression already looked murderous. When I looked back toward the families, the atmosphere inside the office had become noticeably heavier. The widow’s hands trembled on her lap. The orphan girl sat rigid beside her with clenched jaw. Their anger rolled off them, though neither dared to speak against the wealthy couple openly.I leaned back in my chair before speaking again. “Let’s return to the real reason I called you all here.”My gaze moved toward Sammy first. “Tell me about the night your son died.”Sammy exhaled heavily before sitting back down. “My son went to bed after dinner. It was unusual because he loved playing with his younger siblings before goingvto bed. But this time, he looked so tired and went straight to bed.”“How would I have known that it was the la

Alpha Bran’s POV I remained standing until every one of them settled into the chairs before my desk.Aric moved toward the side of the office and took his usual position beside the wall, though I could already sense the irritation radiating off him from Sammy Harlow alone.I lowered myself into my chair slowly and folded my hands together on the desk.Mrs. Harlow dabbed at her eyes with a handkerchief while the widow kept her gaze lowered. The young orphan girl sat stiffly beside her. Her shoulders were hunched inward like she wanted to disappear.I studied them carefully before finally speaking. “What happened to your sons should never have happened within my pack.”The widow’s lips trembled.“I understand that no words will lessen your grief,” I continued. “But I called this meeting because I want you all to know that I am personally handling this investigation. Whoever is responsible for the murder of your loved ones will be found and punished accordingly.”Mr. Sammy Harlow scoffe

Alpha Bran’s POV I stopped halfway through the doorway and turned back. Clara immediately stiffened on the bed.Serafine’s protective stance didn’t change, though I noticed the slight tension in her shoulders as she watched me.My eyes settled on Clara. “You know what’s right,” Her lips parted slightly. The fear in her eyes deepened because she understood exactly what I meant. If Grayson truly murdered those men, hiding it would make her an accomplice.I held her gaze for a few more seconds before turning away again and finally leaving the room.Bane was beside me the whole time. “I can no longer reach the guard,” he muttered lowly as we walked away from the guest room.I scoffed. “Grayson caught him.”Bane cursed under his breath. “That bastard.”We continued down the hallway in silence for a few seconds before Bane asked, “What do we do now?”I slid both hands into my pockets while walking toward my room. “We move to the second plan.”“What second plan?”I glanced sideways at him

Alpha Bran's POV Serafine was sin personified. She made me crave her."Cum for me, butterfly." I ordered. The sight of her in naked glory was dulling my senses. It always did. I wanted her to cum for me so that I could cum inside her. My gaze was on her pulse point. My fangs elongated because I
