Ara's POV

The horse was faster than I thought. She moved quickly but carefully, fast enough to get me to the arena on time.

She knew how important it was for me to get there.

We were getting close. I could hear people cheering. The host was calling out the names of the final four.

I wondered what he was thinking. Was he happy I wasn’t there?

Did he want me to survive? Was he waiting for me?

These thoughts rushed through my mind. I didn’t even realize we had reached the arena. Everyone looked shocked to see me on a horse.

The alpha, Brago, stood up and pointed at me. Then I saw Sebastian. He looked right at me. He looked away for a second, but I didn’t take my eyes off him.

“How did she make it through? She was supposed to be dead! How is this even possible?” I heard Freya say. She was the woman I had fought—she had almost killed me.

“Calm down, Freya,” Franco said, holding her back.

I stepped down from the horse, still glaring at her.

“Finally, the five survivors have made it,” the ho

NOTICE: Sexual content(mild), violence, Ara’s POV Ara wake up, Ara wake up!! Ahhhh!! I woke up from my dream, a nice dream turned into a nightmare. My body felt heavy and my head ached like hell. The sound of chains send shivers through my spin. A chain? I questioned myself. I tried to move my hand but I couldn’t. It was stuck to something. I tried pulling myself but…. I realized my hand had been chained to a rock. No, where I am? What is this? My hands were tired with a rope. An attempt to free myself with my mouth failed as my neck was pulled by something heavy. Khoff!! My neck hurts. My whole body hurts. Where the hell am I? A drop of blood fell on my thigh. Blood! I am scared. This place was unknown to me. I scanned the place. It seemed I was in a hut. Suddenly my eyes locked with a symbol on the walls of the hut. A red lion head in a cycle. No this can’t be, i have been captured. But how? I don’t remember a thing. The last thing I r

Notice: extreme violence and sexual content(abuse). Read with caution. Ara’s POV The sunset lighted the room, waking me up from my dry sleep. My body ached from the torture I went through last night. The sheet that was handed over to me felt warm. I didn’t want to wake up but a sudden footsteps made my body tremble. I shut my eyes. Pretending to be asleep. The footsteps got closer and closer. “Hey up red-haired beta!” he yelled. I woke up abruptly with the sheet still covering me up. Short and curly-haired man, who could be mistaken for a girl at any moment. I wondered how such a pretty man found himself here. “Stop looking at me with those pitiful eyes. You should be more concerned about yourself,” his voice soft and yet unfriendly. “Huh!” “Get dressed and join the others” he threw some clothes on me. “Others?” I muttered to myself. “Wait, please” I pleaded. He paused and turned. “What do you want?” “I-I just want to know where I am, and your name?”

Ara’s POV I was no longer scared of what might happen to me. I was disgusted by their acts. I wanted to pull their eyes out and pierce their hearts with my sword. Unfortunately, I was no longer the leader I once was. I had no power and a pack. I was simply a no-name slave. And yet I still wanted to leave a mark. “You have gone too far. This really what Apex hunt is about!” I yelled, drawing everyone’s attention. “You monsters don’t know anything about hunting. Hunters don’t just hunt anything that crosses their path. They wait and explore their surroundings while being careful. They give their all to every catch and every battle won. You are making a mockery of their legacy and disguising it as an Apex Hunt. Don’t make me laugh! “ I voiced out. My voice was firm and confident. I deemed it necessary to remind them of what the true Apex Hunt meant. My father used to tell me stories of the past. A take about strong packs protecting the small and weak packs. Thi

Ara’s POV My body felt lighter. It seemed nice and warm. I didn't want to wake up from this dream. I believe I was back in the old days when my father was alive. He was super dormant Alpha. He protected mother and the pack. Welcomed anyone into his pack. Unfortunately, that became his biggest mistake. He was betrayed by one member he trusted the most. I defeated him a few years later. I gave him a befitting death. Being stabbed behind his back, literally. Waking up was like a nightmare to me. My eyes moved on their own but my body felt too weak and light to make any movement. “You are awake?” I suddenly heard a soothing voice. A voice command, obsessive and confident. Who might that person be? I wondered. “If you are wondering who I am. Then open your eyes” he spoke again. It was a man’s voice. I opened my eyes slowly. I opened my left eye to see who it was. “Huh! It's you” I stood up abruptly. “B-but how?” I spoke out loud. He chuckled. “You are a w

  • SOLD TO THE BARBARIAN ALPHA   Chapter 5: A Passionate Night..

Sebastian POVI could feel her body trembling as I touched her softly. Her body is soft like silk—Radiate and tempting. I could devour all night and it wouldn't be enough for me. I spread her legs to embrace me further. She was already gone. Her face turned into a red tomato. Sweaty from just a kiss. Was I releasing too many pheromones? She was indeed an omega. My omega, mate, and Luna. Of course, I couldn't tell her that. I pulled away after the kiss. She was under me. Breathing so heavily. Her red hair shone and covered half of her face. I gently caressed her face and leveled her hair behind her ear. “How the hell do I calm down if you look like this red” I softly said to her. “I -I can't take it anymore” she whispered like a plea asking me to take her. I grinned. I moved my hand towards her neck. Leaned over and kissed her neck softly. Her body trembled with every touch, I continued to her ear, used my tongue, and licked her ear loop. I traced down to her che

Ara's POVThe noises stirred me from sleep. Faint chanting reached my ears, mingling with the acrid stench of booze that filled my nostrils.I sniffed and opened my eyes slowly, careful not to wake the beast lying beside me. But as my vision cleared, I realized—he wasn’t there.I wondered where he could be. The thought lingered as I tried to get up, but my body protested—sore and aching from last night.A blush crept across my cheeks at the memory. It was unlike anything I had ever experienced before. He had been rough, yet surprisingly tender. Sweetness intertwined with ferocity as he caressed me through the night, leaving marks on my skin—so many marks.“So irritating,” I muttered under my breath, tracing a finger along one of the faint bruises. It wasn’t entirely surprising, though.Alphas were known for this—for marking what they claimed as theirs. Each mark he left was a declaration of ownership, a silent proclamation to the world that I belonged to him. My heart began to race wil

Sebastian's POVShe was surprisingly cute—still confident and hardheaded, just as she had always been. I stepped out of the room to give her the privacy she so adamantly demanded.“Alpha Sebastian, the council is waiting for you,” my right-hand man, Gargath, informed me as soon as I exited.“Take it easy, Garth. I know the council is waiting for me. You’ve mentioned it twice since we left the court. Remember?”“Ai, I’m sure I didn’t,” he chuckled. “Did you have fun last night, Seb?”He was the only one in the entire kingdom who dared to call me that. Gargath and I had grown up together, long before our secondary genders had emerged. Though both alphas, our ranks set us apart. He was a dormant alpha, while I was the pack leader. To everyone else, I was a symbol of power and a potential threat. To Gargath, I remained the friend he’d always known, and that bond had kept us inseparable. We walked side by side to the council room. My people, my warriors, and my pack were already seated. As

House of BragoSeated at a round table were the Alphas summoned by Brago. His anger and humiliation from Sebastian's actions still festered, and his obsession with the red-haired girl—whom he believed had been stolen from him—only fueled his rage further. He was relentless."Brago, why have you summoned us here on such short notice?" Raul, the Alpha leader of the Snow Moon Wolf Pack, demanded, his annoyance evident in his raised voice."Raul, do not make a fuss. I’m sure Brago has a good reason for calling us here. Right, Brago?" Lucrah, the leader of the Oracle Night Pack, interjected with a sly, tinted smile.Brago sighed heavily and took his seat at the head of the table."Apologies for the unannounced meeting, but I couldn’t wait any longer. The thought of that man ruling over us sends chills down my spine. He needs to be stopped—by any means necessary. And in case you’re wondering who I’m talking about, it’s none other than Sebastian Knight," Brago declared, his voice laced with b

His voice trembled. He was worried.“W-What happened?” I asked.“You fainted. We brought you to your chambers. You need rest, so don’t—”I could hear him clearly now. My vision had returned. And suddenly, I remembered why we were here.It was the game. I had fainted because of the pain in my chest.I grabbed Gargath’s hand. “What about the game?”He hesitated. “Aye... it’s almost over.”“What about Ara—I mean, the red-haired?”He sighed and shook his head. I let go instantly. My chest felt heavy. No. It couldn’t be. She couldn’t be dead. We were connected. If she were dead, I’d be dead too. So she must be alive. A man burst into Ragnor’s chamber, haggard and nearly out of breath.“My king, wake up!”The king stirred, annoyed by the intrusion. He turned, pulling the sheets over Hulda beside him.“How dare he wake me? What could be more important than my rest?” he growled. The man dropped to his knees, bowing low. “Forgive me, my king, but there is urgent news.” His eyes flicked toward Hulda, who had pulled the sheet from her head and now sat up.Ragnor noticed the glance and stood, covering himself. He stormed over and grabbed the man by the neck.“You fool! You dare lay your eyes—!”But before he could finish, the chamber doors slammed open again. More men entered, swords drawn—aimed not at Ragnor, but at Hulda.Ragnor let go of the man and turned sharply.“What is the meaning of this?!” he barked. One warrior stepped forward. “My king, stay away from her. She carries ill intentions toward you.”Ragnor’s face twisted with fury. “What madness is this?! Who dares accuse her?! You enter my room w

The horse kept talking about remembering and stuff i couldn’t comprehend. His voice unfamiliar, feminine. His gaze unnervingly still watched me with eyes too knowing to belong to an animal. "Remember your past, Ara. That is the only way to win Sebastian Knight’s heart." he said like he knew my purpose of being in the game. I wondered. “How did..” “As I said earlier, I am here to help nothing more. You need to remember the memories you have chosen to forget” Its voice was smooth, like wind through the trees, yet it sent a shiver down my spine. I blinked hard, squeezing my eyes shut. “This must be a dream” I muttered to myself. This is a dream. It has to be. When I opened them again, the horse hadn’t moved. “What memories, are you in my dream or maybe I am still dreaming” “Listen to me I don’t have much time Ara” He knew my name and called it once more. “I am here to help” “I don’t even believe in you,” I muttered, more to myself than to it. In the ash-gray dawn, wind whispered through the trees like spirits speaking in lost tongues. “We need to split,” Franco whispered. “I disagree,” Rose said, eyes sharp. “Same here,” Ara nodded, her voice low like thunder before the storm. But their words shattered, for steel clashed ahead—two groups, charging, roaring, blades singing. The fight was wild. Not one soul gave ground. They fought like beasts. But one side had to break. One did. When the blood mist cleared, only three walked from the wreck—silent, breathless. Franco, Rose, and Ara watched, horror in their eyes. Franco once held a sword like a king held a crown. But those days were behind. He had crawled to Brago’s side, left battle for politics, and now his blade arm was slow, soft. He would not survive hand-to-hand. “They failed, like the others,” a voice rang. Freda. She stepped through smoke and bone, flanked by wolves—Alphas and Betas, fierce, fanged, loyal. Ara raised her hand, gesturing to Rose a

Ara’s POV The gods must still look upon me with some favor—for I had not drawn attention. Not yet. But the forest screamed. I could hear the cries of others in the distance, sharp and raw, carried by the wind. And worse… I could smell them—dormant Alphas. Their scent was sour, primal. Disgusting. Still, I had no choice but to bear it. I pressed crushed herbs to my neck, masking my scent. An Omega must hide, not shine. I gripped my bow tight. The string hummed softly. No close combat—I’d lose before I even had a chance to strike. Then… footsteps. Quick, heavy. I ducked behind a thick tree, breath tight in my chest. From behind the branches, I saw her. A woman—tall, sharp-eyed. Black hair like nightfall, eyes like a frost sea. Her voice was silk and steel. “Slay as many as you can,” she said to the two men beside her. “And your reward shall be a night with me.” A cruel grin touched her lips. I recognized the first man—an Alpha with a dark tattoo etched across his arm. I had

Stay close.” “If you’re so reluctant, then leave! I’ll make a fine feast for the Alphas.” Franco whirled on him. “I’m sick of this act. The stench, sharp as a broken promise, struck my senses. It was just as I remembered—the cries of the crowd, the roar of warriors. But this was no homecoming.I alone bore bow and arrow. No sword. No axe. No iron fang to clash with theirs. They laughed then, and they laugh still. Fools. Or maybe it is I who was fooled.I thought it a game. A test of bravery. Not this.
