CHAPTER FORTY NINE
It's been a couple days and JoJo was yet to come out of it and Jordan was becoming worried.
The doctor had promised him on arrival that she'd only suffered from a concussion and needs to be watched, but till now she was yet to regain consciousness.
As he looked at her pale, small figure lying in the pristine, white sheets of the hospital bed, he found himself praying again.
He's been doing that a lot since the morning she went missing.
He needed her to come back to him, he hoped she still had a will to.
After all she's been through recently, she might not.
The thought scared him.
She looked so fragile, like touching her could hurt her more, but he couldn't keep his hands away from her.
He tucked her hair away from her face with caressing fingers, itching to do more than that but unable to.
