Jordan glanced off at JoJo as he listened to what Brad was saying on the other end of the line.
"My guys have reports on the man you want, and I have another that says he knows where you guys are and they're gonna try shit with her again."
Fuck all this, he wanted to be at the end of all this already.
"Whatever it is you have doing, cut it out man and get her back here, we have edge over them back here. My source shows they have a fully functional base there which is something we don't have.
"And until this is over, I don't think you should leave Meghan and Riley alone. These guys are brutal and we are not exactly sure all we're dealing with here. Do you hear me, Jordan?"

He wanted to see her haul that bear of hers, Alfie, around and play with that Golden retriever puppy he hasn't even seen since getting back. He should have gotten her a full grown guard dog instead. Maybe a pitbull, a Rottweiler or even a pure bred Cane Corso. Anyone of these would have done a better job of keeping her safe than her retriever puppy that she calls puppy. JoJo felt the weight of the world crash on her shoulders. She'd imagined every other scenario since the beginning of this crazy mega whoop phase of her life, but not this. Not Riley. She's been there, she's seen what these men can do and it wasn't what she wanted for her baby. It was all her fault. She'd stalled, ignored the threat they'd made her and look what's happened, they were going to make good of it and she was helpless.
